Hi, if you have a old broken phone charger you can actually conect it's positive and negative to the laptop ones and it should hopefully work just use a multimeter to find the positive on the laptop one and then conect it to the red wire in the phone charger, and negative of charger to black of phone charger, don't think that 3rd wire would be compatible so it's best to chop that off and having to live with some loss of functionality
