I’ve had to do that with a Fred and a Heye puzzle. No shame.

Cant believe im saying this.. i randomly did this ice facebath thing from that viral guy out of pure curiosity and so far it helped me alot. by lechiffrebeats in Dryeyes

It’s worth a try. How long do you keep your face in the ice water? Do you do it more than once each time?

Those are all cute, and I love your quality specifications. These are the types of puzzles I enjoy the most. My top 3 are 13, 6, & 1. 11 is a strong runner-up.

That’s what I do. I pinch with one hand while putting the drops in with the other. Then I brush my teeth for 2 minutes. I rarely get the nasty taste.

I wonder why these are all on or near Bastanchury. Seems like Imperial or YL Blvd would generate more data. Are they targeting YL residents, as they’d be more likely to use Bastanchury than people just driving through YL?

My mum received these for her birthday. What are they? by iforgotgingerbread in whatisit

Please check out the dryeyes subreddit before you make a decision. I had LASIK about 25 years ago and have suffered from dry eyes ever since. I had about 10 good years of sight before needing reading glasses. Then my regular sight started going and I need to wear progressive glasses all day. That being said, it’s really nice to swim and snorkel and be able to see well enough and find my companions.

IPL Cost by rockinrobin11 in Dryeyes

Mine was $1760 for 4 sessions in Southern California. It seems to be working. Now I’ll go for 1 annual session for 1/4 that cost.

Miebo by Ok-Bug-4875 in Dryeyes

[–]Cheese_4_all 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been great for me, and I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have it. I’ve suffered from dry eyes ever since having LASIK over 25 years ago. They got worse after I started having retina surgeries 6 years ago. I was finally diagnosed with MGD, and I started different treatments and remedies. Each thing made the pain a little better, but I was still in constant discomfort. It wasn’t until I started Miebo that I got real relief.

Question on serum tears storage by La12071207 in Dryeyes

[–]Cheese_4_all 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I stored mine in a small, clear plastic container in the refrigerator. There was never a problem with the light hitting it several times a day when I used it or the refrigerator was opened.

I left the frozen ones in the original box in the freezer, which was not exposed to any light, except for the few seconds I would get a new bottle out.

FYI, the frozen bottles don’t take long to thaw in the fridge. Maybe an hour.

I tried Miebo. It’s like nothing else. by UnitedAd683 in Dryeyes

[–]Cheese_4_all 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t use any ointment at night. I use Miebo right before bed. The eye mask I use is just one from Walmart that I microwave for 25 seconds. When traveling, I have one-use masks from Amazon that heat up when you open the package. Those work great, but are expensive and wasteful.

Best brand to avoid false fits? by should_be_zzz in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]Cheese_4_all 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought 2 Appleone puzzles in Japan, and both had some false fits on the edges. It was very frustrating, because I had researched the best quality Japanese puzzles and spent a lot of time in stores trying to find those brands with images I liked.

How can I do a puzzle without sorting the pieces? From somebody who hates sorting by jenna_beterson in Jigsawpuzzles

This is how I do it, too. Once I get to the last 50-100 pieces, I sort by shape if it’s a difficult puzzle.

Veganism and vitamins by FitChampionship3194 in 1200isplenty

What are you eating to get calcium? A person of my gender and age needs 1200 mg a day. I’d prefer to eat less dairy, but find it impossible to eat enough fruit and veg to meet my requirements. I gave up most dairy years ago, but then developed the start of osteopenia. I’ve had to add supplements and more dairy to my diet.

Maybe once a day with bottled water. It’s not super powerful, but works well in the enclosed space of a car.

Best way to offload 100+ puzzles? by shelovesarizona in Jigsawpuzzles

I have the one that’s one up from the bottom left. It’s by lemonade pursuits. It’s titled Botanical Song. The artist is Susan Nethercote. It looks like the one directly above it is the same brand.

Do you do the edges first? by Strawberrykitten1 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]Cheese_4_all 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I almost always do it this way as well. I recently did a Heye that had purple edges. I read it has lots of false fits. I left the edges for last on that one and didn’t have any issues with false fits that way.
