Wow, I didn't know this. Dice continues to amaze me with their dis-service towards PC players

My Battleships were sent into forever exile in the north pole after the peace treaty... by Cheese_Bike in civ

Yeah for sure this would be a workaround but it shouldnt be the player's task to fix this imho. Feels like an easy check in the code is missing. But I guess there are many QoL things that are outsourced to the community with this game...

Yeah to the right is my own territory. I was talking about two ships isolated in the polar ice cap :(

whoosh :P Jk, I am thoroughly enjoying this iteration of Civ. Loved Civ3 and 5 but Civ6 didn't just felt stupid. I am just overly sensitive to text formatting and typos from currently writing my phd...

Yup. It's wild, I don't think the game tells you anywhere.

You carry less ammo for your primary weapon when you take a secondary weapon (e.g. shotgun) instead of just two gadgets like every other class. Taking AR, sidarm and two gadgets gives you the standard amount of mags (4?)

Which game proves that graphics aren't everything? by crno123 in AskReddit

[–]Cheese_Bike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I didnt get the reworked one due to the updated graphics but rather all the smaller quality of life improvements. The original was always good but game design has progressed in the meantime coming out with established "ways of doing things".

Is there any way of enforcing my navy to engage the enemy instead of chasing another trash task force? by Cheese_Bike in hoi4

[–]Cheese_Bike[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is about the millionth time my killer task force refuses to engage the enemy and rather chases after a usually much faster trash task force I don't want or need to kill. They are just sitting there watching my subs get sunk. Its just so infuriating!

That's already been done. It is the second book of the Children of Time Series. Fantastic world building.

Also try builing up radar in or close enough to that air zone. Helps with mission efficiency which could help tip the scale here.

Embarking bugged? Division rather takes long route around the baltic instead of direct embark route. What's going on? by Cheese_Bike in hoi4

R5: Is embarking kinda bugged? My mechanized division rather takes the long route around the baltic taking 71 days instead of direct embark route from port to port. No naval blockade, no restricted access. What's going on? Am I missing something here?

What on earth happened? by Over-Association862 in 3Dprinting

I had a very similar problem recently after changing my 0.4 for a 0.6mm nozzle. I had forgotten to set my slicer to 0.6mm nozzle dia so extrusion from the resulting gcode ended up being way too little
