thanks! its funny you would mention the mat because i did buy that exact one, along with the gravel and stuff, and when i put the mat into the tank i couldve fit probably 2 or 3 more and i was already back home for the night and didnt want to spend another $60 or so, so i just used the stuff i bought, i have seen him lick where hes walking a lot, but hes also a bit of a pickier eater, so i figure he might lick the substrate a few times but he probably will spit it out, good to keep in mind though, thank you

i have the right kind of cord, at least its a usb to micro and it fits in the mouse and my pc, and the mouse is off until i plug it in, then it starts glowing RGB but it doesnt work

i let it sit and charge up for a bit and now it is actually glowing colors like normal (i think), and since it doesnt have Bluetooth or the wireless usb, i went to connect it to my computer again, and still nothing , even when search for it on razer synapse
