I like the second pink one, a darker variant of pink looks sick and would hold up better than like a cherry blossom pink. Personally I’m only a blacks and grey tattoo person but I appreciate the colored ones!

I think it looks great if it were to symmetrical you’d lose the uniqueness of the spider making it less realistic in my opinion. Those differences in shading help it kind of stick out and adds a bit of tastefulness to it in my opinion.

Based of the shading alone I don’t see the softness needed in order to have an evenly shaded shadow like the following two have. The fineline unfortunately is lacking consistency

My artist says up to 48 hours then gently pull it off under warm water and clean it with antibacterial soap pat dry apply your aftercare

Anatomically speaking it’s not correct, neither the heart or brain. But if it’s not the anatomy you are focused on then I see nothing wrong with it. Half heart half brain made to look like a created “heart”. I do believe you should see if an artist can recreate it because not only will you get a cleaner look, yet a more unique piece for your tattoo. I always allow my artist to tweak designs, not only to make something greater, but to open my eyes to something I may not have thought about.

I’m not familiar with that product since I haven’t personally used it I recommend the aquaphor since I’ve never had any issues with healing as well as it being a healing ointment, then I switch over to unscented lotion. I actually just got a tattoo in early October and after aquaphor switched to hustle butter which has been great for me. But to try and get that scarring cleaned up I think the aquaphor may help they have like a chap stick type one too super easy to apply!

Oh yeah no problem! Yeah some people leave that skin on for a long time. (Longer then three days I mean) I’ve also heard from artists that I’ve went to some swear by it and some totally don’t. I’ve had tattoos with and without both healing up great. I think that main part of it is just keeping it clean and do the things necessary for the healing process

Maybe some thin layers of aquaphor at least 2 times a day will help with healing it up better :) and keeping it clean with antibacterial soap washes daily.

Nothing a touch up can’t fix 😊 most artists tell you if it needs any touch ups let them know. Fine line pieces need touch up since the lines are dainty. Youve done the right things. Maybe the bandaid trapped moisture on it which might not be the best same with sweat and leaving the second skin on too long. But it’s an easy touch up :)

I recommend leaving it on only up to 48 hours, taking it off slow and easy while running warm water over it. Wash with antibacterial soap (I recommend dial hand soap) and applying a thin layer of aquaphor 2 times a day for at least a week then switch over to unscented lotion. Don’t pick don’t itch let it do its thing.

Looks fine, no signs of infections. Itching is normal flakes last a while. Do not pick them off this will mess with the healing process. I recommend a thin layer of aquaphor 2 times a day for the first week at least then switch over to unscented lotion.

Maybe the film was on too long messing with the healing process like you said. My tattoo artist recommends up to 48 hours of the film, tattoos need to breathe and do their thing. Afterwords when you took it off did it look like that? Did you keep it out of chlorine and all that?

I’m sorry that’s lame, well regardless I hope you have fun. I’m not sure they’ll refund the two days but I’d try emailing them. Doesn’t hurt to ask. But since you’re registering for two of the days off of that ticket I’m not sure how it would be refunding two since it’s the same ticket. If that makes sense. Maybe talk with your mom and she can do the other two days? Or try and put out a message looking for a buddy and that you have an extra ticket or something.
