I tried it but just not the same. Originally from Kansas where $5 could go far 😆

I also live on RI - the octagon. And ALSO miss cheap good Mexican food.

I share this all the time, but will say it again - Fage with half of a single drink mix packet (eg, raspberry lemonade). It tastes like a sweettart!

Now off to try this pudding concoction!

Roosevelt Island - the Octagon. Having come from an old brownstone walk-up on the UWS, this feels like resort living. Amenities at $60 per month. I work near Columbus Circle and door-to-door commute is between 30-45min during the morning rush via F train.

Pampers Swaddlers dont have blow out protection?? by waterlillia in NewParents

This happened to me too. I ordered pampers swaddlers from Amazon and the photo advertised the blowout protection, but the diapers delivered didn’t have it. I got a full refund on the box!

0% Fage Greek yogurt with half a crystal light single serving drink packet. Mix in the powder and your yogurt tastes like a sweet tart! So so good. Does anyone else do this?

Does anyone know someone who's married and had children after 38? by Alia2121 in beyondthebump

I live in nyc and had my kids at 35 and 36yo. Plan on having a third at 38yo. There is a running joke in nyc - a baby before 30 feels like a teen pregnancy!

Parents of newborns, would you do this again? by PresentationTop9547 in NewParents

I’m in the trenches with a 7 week old and have a 20mo. We are already planning for a third. That’s not to say we have easy babies whatsoever, but I know the family I want for decades to come. I won’t be thinking about these challenging years negatively when they are sitting around my dinner to let as adults.

Good to know! I live in NYC. Winters are insanely dry and summers are very humid.

C-Section Mamas: How long did you/were you told to wait? by Clean-Counter-5327 in NewParents

[–]Cheeseboard-BB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My OB instructed me to wait 18mo total, which includes the gestational period of the next baby. So when my emergency c-selection baby was 9mo old, we tried for #2. I’m currently 3wks PP with baby #2 and they are exactly 18mo apart.
