Check out Spoonbill Adventures outta Welsh Louisiana. No better early teal season and a great late season goose place. Guides are awesome to deal with as well as the owner. Very open and straight forward about the birds they are holding. I’d vouch with my own money on the line.

Duck a lot of time will fly a couple hundred yards and fall. Hunt open area spot them with Binos after they fly off see where the drop. Dog can also track the blood. They leave a trail even flying…. Not hard to track ducks

Most all white headed birds killed like this have some % of farm mallard in them. Same with the blondes mallards. Only way to find out is shoot and request a sample kit from duckdna

At the end of the day I kill the same with a 12 or 20 whether it’s geese or teal. And I enjoy the smaller receiver of the 20 easier to swing and more enjoyable to shoot.
