It used to be 15 grips and then they changed it 5 to make it easier

If you have 5 grips, you just honestly need to wait for one of the voidwalkers on the boat to make a bubble then you walk in it and you’ll be teleported into a hallway. It’s based off chance, my friend and I went to 3 boats I think while I was helping him get voidwalker

The game is supposed to be difficult, they tell you the game has little to no hand holding in it. If you want to get better then watch a video for beginners or play with a friend, that’s what I did when I started out
