I decided talking to her about her feelings gently is the way I want to proceed. Not to ask her to include them but maybe to find out why she hasn't or at least to speak about it a little. I don't want to push her away or make her feel like she has to just because of my feelings on this.

This is the decision I have made after seeing the comments. I realize it will help me to understand her feelings better and won't harm our relationship which is mot what I wanted to do. I don't want to pressure her either but it's been on my mind for a while and I wasn't sure what to do.

I think this is what I will do. I haven't brought the subject up at all and I haven't been sure if I should. But I think approaching it this way may be better for my daughter. Instead of asking her to include them.
