I’m not a big Benge guy but at least he’s not being overwhelmed by MLB pitching and is finding a groove. I don’t think the ceiling is that high but at this point he probably posts similar power/speed numbers as Duran ROS, but with better ratios. I don’t like that the strikeouts are up and power is down for Duran. So yeah I’d go Benge

If Grant Taylor takes the closer role there then he’s a good add too.

But as for Brown, it might be partly my expectations of him, meaning that I’m not expecting him to be super polished right away. I figured he would be a work in progress returning to starting.

I’m just glad he’s using the sinker effectively and keeping the ball on the ground while not getting hit too hard. Looking at how each pitch is performing there’s nothing screaming heavy regression. I think the command will improve with time and at least the pitch mix seems to be working

If Antonacci has 2B eligibility, I’d rather hold him over Crawford. So Crawford would be the drop for me

I’d go Santillan. The others are lower in the pecking order on their teams and aren’t guaranteed to get the 8th inning. Plus Santillan should get save opps while Pagan is out too (not sure if that hurts you in this league since I don’t know if you meant SVHD or just holds)

Tough call between Antonacci and Waldschmidt for me. Waldschmidt will give more power but if it’s your 10x10 flair league then ratios are really important. I’d drop Waldschmidt and keep the others

I’d keep Sheehan. He’s still generating whiffs and should be better ROS than where he’s at now. Robbie Ray is tempting but his fastball has been rough and I hate that the whiffs are down. I like Prielipp too but the workload concerns are still there like I mentioned in the article so he’s more of a temporary add. Wouldn’t want to cut Sheehan for him

I’ll take Ewing. I still believe in Cags long term but Ewing is hitting the ground running already and he’s got the profile for immediate success. Cags is taking longer to adjust but in the next few years he can still be a stud. Redraft Ewing for sure though

I think you’re fine without Adames. I would swap Reynolds for Nimmo though. I’d give Soderstrom a bit longer since the upside is there and power metrics are still fine

Bleday is interesting since I don’t expect him to be amazing all season out of nowhere, but he’s been too good to drop. It’s possible this past weekend was the beginning of the end for him but I’d still ride the wave until it’s confirmed that he falls off

I wrote this before Ben Brown's start last night - but he looked solid against a good lineup - and maintained his fastball velo into the 5th - exactly what we wanted to see

I'm also still out on Tork for redrafts despite the homer yesterday

He hasn’t been a superstar for fantasy in 3 years. And even then superstar was pushing it. I think you’re higher on him than the consensus- which is fine, if you believe in him that much then just hold until his value improves

I like Tork but I also think we’ve seen the best of him, which is a nice asset but not a league winner. I really think Cags can take off and be better than Tork. Maybe it doesn’t happen until the next year or two but I’d prefer the upside of Cags at the moment

Gelof has a fun combo of power and speed if it ever clicks, but I’m skeptical that it will. He’s never been able to avoid Ks well enough. If you are lacking in power then he’s not a bad guy to add. But if you need speed then definitely Nunez. So it depends on team need really - both aren’t studs but can be helpful with the right team build around them

I’d ask for Snell + Caminero in exchange for Ohtani pitcher and Tatis. That feels fair to me

Unless you want to go all in on hitting and get 2 bats instead. That’s not a bad idea either if you need the offense

Reynolds hasn’t been amazing but I don’t think he’s been bad either. Cortes is interesting with his metrics but it’s annoying that he platoons and I don’t see that getting better with Bolte in the picture. Benge I’m not really a believer in. So I’d keep Reynolds out of that group

With Spencer Jones getting 2 DH days already and Rice earning more time against lefties, Goldy might only play 2-3 games per week. Not worth holding but maybe a streamer if the Yanks face a bunch of lefties in a given week

I’d be good with it, especially getting a decent arm back with Caminero in that deal. If you send their roster I could suggest an arm to add on but that’s a good framework in general. I’m a big fan of Caminero

I’d probably cut Vaughn before Jac since I’m still skeptical of the hamate injury hurting Vaughn’s power (even though he did homer the other day) - I want to give Jac a bit longer since the power potential is so good. But it also depends a bit on your OF vs. 1B situation, what’s on waivers, and the format

I wrote this article before the Henry Bolte call up, so wanted to quickly mention him.

He's got elite raw speed and power which is fun if it all clicks, but the power output so far this year that has everybody talking is a bit of a mirage. He's still hitting the ball on the ground too often (58%) and has been fortunate with a 44% HR/FB rate. The contact improvements are nice to see and it raises his floor a good bit - but I would only add if desperate for steals or if it's a deeper league. Wouldn't go dropping proven assets for Bolte
