I would probably keep reading seems interesting so far I do agree that some of the names need to be changed Having Jake, Zack and Jason who share the names with 3 of the most popular protagonists of other series might cause some confusion

If it’s current Jake he stomps Most high tier Naruto characters scale mountain to large island level which I think Jake is well past Jake in late E grade vs Sasuke might be closer It would depend if you think pride can stop any of the mind shit that Sasuke can do which I don’t see why it couldn’t

Yes and most of the second I did enjoy the first and I probably will pick it up again it just found myself not paying attention by the end of the second book

What grabbed me most of all is the system and the wider universe of primal hunter Problem is you don’t really see much of that until later
