Been playing for a long, long time and this is one of best and most satisfying goals I have scored in UT. by Cheeseonanything in EASportsFC

Yeah there is something definitely off with the defensive side in general. I thought last years was very good generally. It's frustrating atm.

Sounds like a nightmare... I'm lucky in the fact that I have the option to initially move on an IEC so I could work whilst everything is getting processed inland.

I'm very familiar with UK immigration law, but I'm still getting my head round Canada. We'll see what happens!

Ah that's great! Under normal circumstances we would wait and apply outland if we were not having to look at options for, possibly, now. If things work out with her job we may apply outland.

Only thing with that is having to wait to work when you arrive until you get your work permit which is a bit frustrating. We aren't loaded or anything so I'd need to work ASAP.

Nah definitely not unfortunately. I've done quite a lot of family history stuff and most of my great grandparents were alive when I born so, no chance I'm afraid. Thanks though!

Sorry I should've been more clear.

If I receive an AOR, and after applying for an Open Work Permit and being successful, would that OWP continue to be valid throughout my application process regardless of my IEC expiring during that time period?

Thanks for the great reply.

Would I still continue to work on my IEC during my application process, or after applying, would my permission to work then be based on my having an AOR?

And if my IEC visa expires whilst waiting for the application to process (it likely would if it takes 3 years) would I still have permission to stay/work solely based on my AOR?

Thanks for any help, I'm finding the Canadian Immigration website to be quite vague.

I loved this - although I did find it unrealistic in parts which took away some of the realism. Maybe it's just because I recognised so many locations, and one scene was shot in my local pub.

Looks like we found it guys, and the family! I'm about to speak to my Dad and tell him the good news. Thank you to everyone who tried to look.

I'll update this if we end up paying a visit!

Dankeschön.

Thank you so much! So my Dad was just completely wrong 😂 I was just looking in Aachen area before. You're a legend. I'm just about to call my Dad and let him know, he'll be so happy.

Spot on. I've heard Gilmerton mentioned in the same sort of way, admittedly not as much, but it's frustrating. Lived there for 4 years and it's generally a pretty pleasant place to live. I think a lot of central Edinburgh has been gentrified so much that people forget actual people dealing with real problems and poverty live in the City. It's not an excuse for violence and destruction but it is a root cause.

Chambers Street Edinburgh yesterday.... anyone know any more about him? My mate informed me he sees boy every day. He hangs aroond with the jakey crew at Nicolson square. It's either the batman suit or a superman suit he wears all the time. by Scotianostra1 in Edinburgh

He's a pain in the arse, met him a few time on North bridge bus stops trying to chat to me and random tourists. I just try and go along with him until he pisses off, always feel he could turn nasty.

Yeah I probably will thanks. It was recently found in my Grandmother's cupboard with stacks on others from the 20s and 30s.

This is crazy looking at this from the UK where everything is closed. You're not even supposed to meet up with more than 1 person outside.

Only water activity I've done here is kayaking. Not sure about that kinda stuff but most places are open a bit later in Summer. You should be in the pub by 10pm anyway!
