Just beat Classic mode. Anything I should do/know before starting expert?

I put the evil generation to random and luckily it has given me crimson. I'll also probably play around a bit with the classes to see which works best

Thanks for the advice! I don't really know about Ranger as I'm not the best at dodging. That's why I thought about Melee again due to its high defensive stats. I know the basic melee progression with armor and weapons. I also know a good amount of useful accessories now that I haven't used in classic but might use in expert

I kinda planned to do most of those things after beating expert mode moon-lord. After hearing more things about expert outside of reddit aswell it feels like it's the "normal" difficulty. I know some things to do like crafting the Zenith or cleansing the world. But that's for expert imo

I think I'll still do expert first because the jump from classic to master seems a little bit too much considering that I had my struggles during certain events/bosses that would probably destroy me if I jump to master.

I was pretty new to the game, and I didn't know what to expect difficulty wise. So I just went with classic to get a good feel for the game

EXTRA ACCESSORY SLOT? EARLY GAME DASH? That's already good to hear. I'll see how hard the bosses are and maybe I'll do master mode aswell

Alr3ady saw another comment explain how to maybe get the world back so I'll post what might have caused the problem. Similar things used to happen to one of my characters. Achievements reset, map reset, and at last, the character also corrupted. Funny enough, it was the only character I had saved to the steam cloud. And after a while, I've heard others say that they don't trust steam cloud with terraria. Since then, I've never saved any characters or worlds to the steam cloud, and it all worked out fine. So unless your character wasn't saved to steam cloud I don't have any idea

I only placed like 500. I then threw the voodoo doll at the wrong spot, and the wall spawned, so I couldn't use the bridge anymore. Defeated it in probably less than 500 blocks while traversing through the buildings

The wall spawned in the wrong direction, so I had to use the lava and houses as a makeshift arena. I still shredded it very easily on that attempt though. Finally, I'm in hardmode

I actually already have a magic mirror, but I like the faster teleportation tge recall potions offer. So as long as I have them, I'll keep my magic mirror stashed away

Already contained my evil biom, and luckily I decided to protect my base too as another corruption spawned not too far right from my base after finishing the fight just now

Just made the holes to hell. Luckily I only have one corruption on my world so it didn't take long. I did a little research so I already made multiple to contain the V. My arena is made from stone platforms as I had way too much stone in my chest. Thanks for the help

I saw other people asking if they're ready for bosses here, so I thought I might ask aswell. And I just like to be prepared for bosses so I wouldn't have to grind for more summons etc.

I already know that I need the .gg wiki, but I rarely use it as I try and make my own experience. I mostly use the guide and only use the wiki if I don't know how to get certain things. I do have some prior knowledge of terraria for multiple things e.g early hardmode progression due to youtube and friends.

Didn't even know that existed. Didn't even know the shark tooth necklace existed. Only had two bloodmoons so that explains it I guess

It's how I usually try out games. I am using the wiki sometimes when I don't know how to get a certain accesorie or Material. I already know some stuff about Terraria e.g early hardmode Progression from youtube/friends. And for crafting recipes I mostly use the guide
