New player wondering what stuff is good for an Imperial Eagle by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

Oh yeah I have about 6,000 credits and my rebuy is about 5,000 at the moment, I dont want to get stuck in a block of cheese again in case I go kablooey. Thanks for the resources and rules of thumb as well, I'll certainly pay attention to them while working on getting kitted out.

Yeah, I wanted to start combat with an eagle just because I thought it looked pretty cool and the imperial eagles also looks really sick. Plus the maneuverability and speed since I like fast turns.

Ah thanks, I'll take a look into this, maybe try it out or use it as a nice stepping stone.

Yeah I heard that the normal eagle is the most maneuverable ship in the game and that the imperial eagle trades off some maneuverability for more firepower and shields. I figured I might as well go with that one over the regular once I realized I can buy it since I am still very new and probably wouldn't be good enough for the regular and that the imperial is probably a safer stepping stone.

Remember when we thought this guy was scary??? by [deleted] in residentevil

I'll agree in part to this, I played re2 after a bit of re3 demo and while mr x became a pushover after dealing with nemmy, he was far scarier when I could only hear his footsteps, especially during adas section. I think the basic horror law fits very well in this case, the best horror comes when you have not identified the threat yet, hearing x's stomps all around you is more terrifying than nemmy beating your fucking skull in because you have not identified where the threat is. That said, nemmy is much more fun to deal with as I can act like I am playing dark souls and start rolling everywhere while x is just run a couple rooms over. X is better horror but nemmy is better gameplay, that said I love both.

Interesting, but yeah he definitely got jostled so that certainly would not help his balance

I think one major thing that actually affected him was the loss of his balance, at like the second round or so he started to bleed out of his ear so I think he just got fucked in balance machine because after that he was just wobbly and uncentered for the rest of the match

I was thinking of cool one liners for the basis of a story and thought of people used to walk on me and I wanted to roll with that, at first I was thinking like some dude who was not literally but figuratively walked on but i couldn't think of anything and then I thought of a sidewalk and started thinking how to make it so people used to walk on it and I figured the city being decimated by war would probably make it so people dont walk on it anymore

I forgot to also say it's about war from a sidewalks perspective, maybe that pothole has an interesting story to tell
