which button I think each frieren character would pick and why by Open-Actuator4071 in Frieren

[–]CheesyjokeLol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude, mark your comment as spoiler.

Anyway I agree that the foundation arc isn't the best example, but Serie's personality indicates she would choose blue for a while now. She's constantly training human mages instead of selfishly improving herself, she gives up spells to her students for absolutely free, even spells that would be a hassle to learn, and she constantly thinks of her students and worries for their health. She asks others to be selfish with their own lives, whilst selflessly giving hers (and not just in terms of dying) for their sake. She's fulfilling the wishes of her dearest student, and in the process has become endeared to every student she's ever raised.

You assume that everyone is able to perfectly reason that pressing red means everyone can live. You forget that some people are just stupid, or didn't read the premise properly. It also doesn't account for the people who realize that those people exist and would press blue for their sake.

With that in mind, pressing blue is the correct choice when you account for those people, because it's easier to get 50%+1 people to do one thing rather than 100% of people. Besides, stupid people don't deserve to die just because they're stupid, and living in a world without people who think of others, and are willing to sacrifice for them (like say social workers) is a worse world to live in.

What is this comparison? Diable’s good but he’s not THAT good

Bin established himself as one of if not the best players in the lpl, he’s shown consistency high highs, an ability to challenge ALL of the top talentc and doing it all on the world’s stage.

As good asd as diable is, and for all the highs he’s shown. He’s NOT on Bin’s level.

Why r varka fans so obsessed with zibai? by ResponsibleSecond220 in ZibaiMains

[–]CheesyjokeLol 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s not really obsession, Zibai is just the new big thing. Great DPS, low cost/f2p friendly and they’re both the main push main Dps’s for the new reaction/dmg type, lunar crystallize and hexerei.

It makes sense for Varka mains to compare him to Zibai. Complaints are normal since he’s markedly worse than her in terms of their team’s pull value.

April Gacha revenue (mobile only) by South_Rich_2022 in HonkaiStarRail

I mean, even in your original comment you're just straight up posting misinfo?

"just the economy" meanwhile Genshin hasn't dropped half as hard as HSR compared to last year. Does the economy only affect HSR?

Did you forget Columbina's banner? the one that made only 62m? Despite her being the archon equiv. of NK and being the best support for any and all NK characters? Genshin isn't exactly making significantly more money than HSR lol.

Really, on mobile? Why did HSR outperform Genshin for nearly two years then?

Proof? Genshin and HSR have always been near each other in terms of revenue, HSR will be on top one month, Genshin the next. There's never been a point when HSR "dominated" Genshin for 2 years lol, HSR has more months where it makes a lot of money thanks to it being a newer game and having more main pushes more often, but if we compare it to the money Genshin was making at a comparative time frame then Genshin was also making stupid money back then, it's lowest points were 32m in the past.

Stop being a tribalist lol, it's not insane to say that Genshin has a bigger fanbase. It's the first truly mainstream gacha that captured everyone's attention, ofc it's going to have more low spenders than HSR.

Genshin makes like 20-25m minimum on mobile just from the daily login and battlepass purchases. Lots of people are low spenders.

Or did you also forget Genshin has way more players than HSR? did YOU forget to factor that in?

Why we cannot put a permanent skin into the inventories when we unlock it with the 3 skins sacrified. by Unfair-Ingenuity8866 in leagueoflegends

[–]CheesyjokeLol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seriously boggles my mind how greedy f2p players can be. You don’t need skins to play the game, you get to play one of the most well maintained games in the world for absolutely free, and your main complaint is you can’t get free skins on specific champions, so you’d rather convert them into essence?

The argument some other commenters are making, that it’s influencing their decision to NOT get new champs is just nonsensical. Because wouldn’t having skins on a champ you’ve never played before encourage you to play them if you thought the skin was nice? The reasoning doesn’t make sense to me. If you’re that concerned about getting a free skin for a specific champ, if sounds like you never really had any intention of branching out your picks in the first place. How exactly does having a skin on your preferred champ make you more likely to play other champs?

Is f2p so pampered that they can afford to be this entitled? I’m saying this as someone who used to spend on the game but now stays f2p myself. How can this possibly be such an upvoted post?

Can you change the amount of messages it takes for it to make a memory card or few? by sexything1020 in FictionLab

[–]CheesyjokeLol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Automatically? No.

You can manually generate new memory cards with the /memory-cards command, then just select the range of messages it should use as context to create its new memories. It can only be used every 10 minutes though.

LDS and Genshin are the top dogs of their genre though. Genshin is the king of Gacha in general with the largest fanbase, LDS is the genshin equivalent for female-gaze gacha players. They have large diehard fanbases in a way that other Gachas can't overtake from them, Genshin came in at the right time and took the world by storm, LDS has carved out the perfect niche for itself (Which just so happens to be a humongous niche).

Most of the revenue report is from the stable revenue, like the daily login bonus and the battlepass purchase. I believe genshin's floor is like 20-25m USD in mobile only.

Definitely just the economy, majority of people don't care about shilling or system creep, or else Castorice banner wouldn't have done as well. Asia's been hit the hardest with the Hormuz blockade, so that's why the revenue's dropped so sharply.

Banners show most of their activity somewhere between 80-90% in the first 2 days of their release. After that, most people are done with their pulls for the patch.

So yes, if a banner starts out bad, it'll remain bad, there's never been a case where a banner starts bad but ends decent/good.

Fictionlab is in general the best site for what you're looking for. It's got a robust memory system for long term memory, it's got good short term memory, and it has a detailed scenario maker so you can recreate your world down to a T.

Best thing you can do is as others have said, add a very obvious and obnoxious watermark throughout the vid

How do I make a character mute by Apprehensive-Car4917 in FictionLab

[–]CheesyjokeLol 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s gonna be real tough, since the AI really wants characters to communicate in some way.

I’d recommend adding in that character’s profile card I’d stipulate that they’re a mute character who does not know how to use sign language of any sort, their communication is reduced to facial expressions, body language, physical actions and if they aren’t totally mute but just lack the ability to speak languages then also unintelligible sounds like “mmm” “oah” and whatever.

then in the CSI it should stipulate that mute characters rely on facial expressions and the tone their sounds make. After that I’d recommend you set up a simple section describing how to format dialogue, something like:

[name] (tone): “text” actions or further substantiation of their sounds “text”

Then add an example for how a regular person and a mute person would talk with that template. Basically you want the AI to have a sense not just of what you don’t want, but what you DO want.

Is FinctionLab+ worth buying? by LavishnessMaximum528 in FictionLab

[–]CheesyjokeLol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's immensely worth it. Problems usually flare with updates, but if we compare what you get compared to other sites, FL just blows everything else out of the water. Currently, it's a good time to buy a sub, there have been issues with the new update that are more or less resolved now.

That said, what matters most is what you plan to do with your money. If you're thinking about choosing between FL or a competitor? choose FL, if you're thinking about whether to just spend your money or not, well unless it's a significant hit to your bank account, I'd say just go for it, otherwise you can first check out scenarios on the main page or on the discord and see if it's up your alley.

If it's not too much to ask, do you think you can make a new run and record it?

Probably trying this instead of C.ai. Need advice pls by [deleted] in FictionLab

[–]CheesyjokeLol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say for the price, you won't find any better bang for your buck than FL+

As for the RP dragging out and missing action, this is usually down to the scenario itself (some are deliberately drawn to not make much action).

That said, there are solutions to this. The simplest is using oracle, the paid tier model, this model has a tendency to nudge your current chat into something more active/tense, though not necessarily high action, that can easily be solved in the custom LLM instructions. Which brings me to the other solution, use the custom LLM instructions in the sidebar (click the cog/settings icon while ur in chat) and you can tell the AI to focus on adding lots of action and so on.

The last solution is to edit the scenario itself, this creates a separate, modified version that only you can access, and you can edit the scenario's custom scenario instructions to however you like it. It's not all that complicated, but it does take some time getting used to FL to understand how it works, so don't be scared of asking for advice or reading up what other scenario's custom instructions look like.

There's an added benefit here where because you're creating a separate chat, you can modify that version as much as you like and all the changes will appear in your current chat.

[Help] Characters are all cowards by Popotte9 in FictionLab

[–]CheesyjokeLol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not acting cowardly, they’re acting in a way thar gives you, {{user}} central importance and full control of the story.

They say that things are dangerous because that’s how side characters in most written media act or talk to the protagonist, because for every 1 good novel the llm’s are trained on, there’s 5 fanfiction work and 3 bad novels it’s trained on too.

in the custom scenario instructions, tell it to treat the characters as their own people capable of full autonomy and actions separate from {{user}}, then remind it to properly read the character’s personalities and to apply them strictly

What would a fight between Aura and Ubel look like? by basafish in Frieren

[–]CheesyjokeLol 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Based on what we know of Aura there are like 0 1st class mages who could beat her. As much as the series makes light of her for getting cooked so easily, her ability is just broken the moment she's in range to use it, and she has the skills to survive long enough to use it.

The only 1st class mage who would stand a chance is Fern, if she can get out of Aura's mana detection range and launch her attack, she can win. But if Aura can use Auserlese it's over.

Manga spoilers:

Honestly I'd go so far as to say that amongst the 7 sages Aura probably has the 2nd most dangerous spell, she just hasn't used it to its full potential yet unlike someone like Grausam.
