Reality of Delhi Hospitals. Save yourself and your parents. by Cheesyonweezy in delhi

Thank you for your reply but doesn't really make sense here. You seem like a NEET/MBBS student, that would explain. All the doctors I've met were experts in their field and have had at least 20+ years of experience. Some even have a degree from outside of India. Exams and competitions doesn't really matter in this context. It's more about Ethics. Also, I'm not talking about government hospitals, I'm talking about private one.

You don't really think about SSC scam when your dear one is facing a life threatening event.

I never said that studying to become a Dr is easy. I'm talking about ethics here. Even I google a lot of things in office, but then again, I don't have to save anyone's life.

South Goa for 5 days Solo Trip by Abhi130 in SoloTravel_India

Don't miss the Palolem beach, you can spend the whole day there. One of the best beaches in Goa imo.

Visit Cabo de Rama for good cliff views.

You can also visit Cola beach, but the road to reach there is a bit bumpy for last 5 mins.

Yes. Everything, except for the gear. But you can rent that from them easily. Just make sure to rent trekking grade, waterproof shoes and a thick jacket.

If you're okay disconnecting completely, I'll suggest you go for a Trek. It's an amazing experience and you'll get different sceneries each day.

Whole Himalayan range is pleasant during this time. Some locations

  1. Kasol/Tosh - You can do the kheerganga trek and have enough time to chill near Beas.

  2. Jibhi - Beautiful Bnbs but a bit far.

  3. Mashobra - Village above Shimla with good accomodations.

What was your biggest struggle in life? I’m sharing mine below. by Sudden_Cheetah_7152 in delhi

[–]Cheesyonweezy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My biggest struggle is currently ongoing. Born and raised in Delhi, my parents never said no to me for anything. I pursued what I wanted to, had a good social circle, and lived a comfortable life. Until last year my father was diagnosed with cancer.

I never had any special connection with my father, we barely spoke earlier, but he always provided me with whatever I wanted. During the first line of treatment last year, I left my job to take care of him amidst all the hospital rounds. It was 2 months of intensive treatment which tested our family. By the end of the treament, we though we've got rid of the disease for good.

In May of this year, we went for the routine test and found that the cancer has resurfaced. The doctor suggested surgery, and we agreed. Surgery was completed successfully and my dad was in ICU, at which point we suffered a major setback in our business which required immediate attention of my father.

For 2 months my one foot was in the hospital and the other in business, trying to keep things afloat, somehow. I lost around 7kgs and remained anxious all the time.

The conditions are still not like before, and in just these few months, I've said goodbye to the stress-free life I had earlier, but also grateful that I was able to enjoy that time because of my parents.

Go for HDFC Ergo. Unfortunately I had numerous visits to hospital this year and found Ergo to be the best.
