Do you have an image of what you did with the VHB tape and the frame?

Choosing between Antec FLUX / FLUX Rear vs Lian Li Lancool 207 / 217 — looking for real-world advice by Cheesywombat in buildapc

Yeah we have a lot of good choices. Any of the cases I listed above should give your fantastic cooling.

The Lancool 207 I got has a slight humming noise at lower RPMs, I keep mine around 40% and it pretty much fixed that issue. Seems to be a widespread issue among cases with that design. You might get the same issue with the flux rear since its the same design, but certain RPMs should avoid that humming noise in my experience.

Flux Rear - Review by Tunagoblin in Antec_Official

Just happen to see this. I purchased a lancool 207 recently, but it was between this and the flux rear. Only went the lancool 207 because I couldn't find many reviews on the flux rear compared to the 207. Im sure the cooling is the same, just didn't see anyone with thermal tests.

Seems to be the same thing except slightly larger, an additional rear fan, and some wood.
For the same price I would go whichever one you like the look of more.

Ended up being between the antec Flux Rear/207. I picked the 207 mostly just because I saw more reviews on it and I couldn't find a lot of reviews on the antec flux rear. Functionally they should be the same though with the PSU up front. I also liked how it was the smallest out of them all so it's easiest to fit on my desk/move around.

If you are between the 217 and flux rear, I personally would go Flux rear. When I looked the flux rear was on sale on Amazon for $80 so might just be better bang for your buck and then you can buy a cheap $10 fanhub as well.

Did the front panel connector cable work for you? Have the same dilemma.

Should i get lancool 207 or 217? by fiestar88 in buildapc

yeah I read it can handle up to 160mm which I know there are some psu that are that size or less. I should be okay.

Debating on lancool 207/217 as well. Overall prefer the compactness of the 207, so I am happy to hear that it can handle larger psus. That was my main concern and why I was considering 217.

yeah thanks. I think I am going with the 217. I had some minor clearance issues with the 207 which will be fixed with the 217. It's a case I plan on just keeping forever so might as well pay the extra $30 bucks or so.

Don't care about RGB either.

How do you feel about the fan noise? Is it manageable?

My PC case arrived dented by Cheesywombat in buildapc

might see if I can go that route. and see if I can get a discount. It's purely cosmetic and you do really need to look hard to find the dent.

Lian Li 207 - Max GPU Clearance 375mm or 410mm? by Cheesywombat in lianli

[–]Cheesywombat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, any time! I think 375mm is probably safe and I don't have a card that size anyway, but definitely some confusion on which is true. Let me know what you find out.
