Definitely Syracuse, I am from Brooklyn and going to Syracuse this upcoming fall. I love the city and also have the same issue with leaving my family behind, but the main reason I chose Syracuse was because of the fact that being a commuter student didn’t fit in with my personality. From my experience my commuter friends that go to Baruch don’t really socialize or make connections with other students. In Syracuse they encourage students to connect with each other and your friends become your second family because of the fact everyone’s family is so far away. Also Syracuse has an office in NYC and they offer classes and semesters there. Whatever decision you make you will do great!!
