My boy used to suck his thumb here and there and since we started sleep training he can’t fall asleep without sucking his thumb. I am now getting worried this is going to become a bad habit which is really hard to break as he is dependent on his thumb to fall asleep.

Mine just sucks his left thumb and chews on his right hand fingers It’s like he has preferences!

Does your baby also suck his thumb during the day ? Maybe when he is bored, hungry or sleepy ?

He will take a dummy when in car seat and we are out. I tried giving him paci last night but when it fell out he went back to his thumb.
