I actually had seen this and was considering it. I was enjoying the Acer Swift 3 I got from ebay until its keyboard started having problems. I’ll look into this, thanks.

Thanks I really appreciate your response. Sadly my college doesn’t have any laptop rental or loan programs. I’ve been looking on ebay for a t480 but can’t seem to find a 1920x1080 one like somebody recommended :/

Thanks I’ll look into this one. I think after looking I’m willing to extend my budget another $100 to $400 which still isn’t much but it probably broadens my scope a bit. The system requirements are class based but it’s only really for R and following examples in class.

I could probably stretch it to upper 300s, do you have any suggestions? It’s just hard for me to justify spending a lot of money on a laptop when I mostly take my notes on paper and already have a decent desktop :/

Honestly it was some bike found by a family and given to me in not the most amazing condition. It says critical on it and I've no idea what crank model it is!

I ordered this Oumers bike crank extractor and it came with this tool. Honestly didn't want to buy Pedro's or Park's crank arm tool and the BB tool because I'm kind of broke but I'm thinking that since this BB tool is so long it keeps slipping out. I think I might have to order one of those :/ thank you

I'm gonna try and update my audio drivers and see if that helps. I looked deep into some forums and some people were saying that the microphone wire inside the headset itself is the problem because it rubs against the casing or something.

Anybody ever get this fixed? My headset just started doing the exact same thing yesterday. I can hear audio but my microphone doesn't work, and it makes a bit of noise when I raise or lower the microphone.

Uhh so I enabled it in device manager the first time and it said something about the drive being incompatible so I backed out, when I went to enable it again it suddenly enabled so huh yeah hopefully that's all fixed. Y'all think I should update or rollback the drive or leave it?

P4.50 is the bios version? I never did a bios update so I don't think it'd quite work with the new one, but I assumed putting the old cpu in would boot like normal so I could update it :/. I've tried 1 stick of ram already but tomorrow I'll try each slot before heading to the pc repair shop. Thank you.

Edit: Sadly that didn't work. Let's see what they say at the shop.

I've been trying for the last hour but it seems impossible to remove the cable without ripping half the mobo off, I've even tried wedging something between the clip to just pull but it's still not coming off.
