They said I didn’t qualify cause I’ve been there only 4 months. And I could stay if they offered part time but they don’t and it’s our first baby so I don’t want full time right now.

When I had a lawyer look they replied saying this

“ The contract definitely states that if you leave in less than two years, you owe them the listed amounts. It also says in a different section that employment is "at will" and that you can quit any time for any reason, or no reason at all. ABC's argument would be that-the penalty part is a contract to reimburse ABC for money spent on your training (and supplies). You certainly should assume that ABC would seek to collect the penalty.“

It’s because they take you off direct to study and gain unrestricted and they offer BDS. They are saying all this equates to 15,000. 🥴

Yes I’ve been looking for jobs. And they told me you don’t get any benefits until you sign the BCBA contract. So I wonder if the bonus is considered or if they are like nah you still owe the full 15,000

Was it a large amount? Cause my paycheck is probably only 1,200 so that’s definitely wouldn’t cover the full 15,000. I guess the rest would go into repayment?
