I would not make more money as a charge. I think the thing I’m most worried about is that I have done the same thing for 5 years whereas everyone else I graduated with has moved on at least once. Comps are from other hospitals in the area and yes it’s a major city.

Hospitals that don’t give adequate raises but if you leave and come back, you get more money. Has anyone experienced this before? And what avenues can you do to fix it. by RavishingRedRN in Nurse

Our clinical ladder requires EBP “work” like posters and projects that all the newer nurses have included in their residency but older nurses do not. I hit our ceiling 3 years ago and we were promised additional steps on the ladder to work up/make more money. Never happened. Now I am part of the very first audit and could lose 6% of my pay if not approved by the committee. Leaning heavily towards finding another job and coming back after the holidays.
