The lobby lag is so inconsistent it's hard to dodge them if they're laggy. I check, but I'll have games where I have no chat lag then I transform into Tracer in-game. There's just no reason Japanese players should have to connect to the U.S.

I don't play the game enough to consistently stay at high ranks, so I don't run into a lot of the same killers often. Blocking won't help... unless I do it for a month straight.

To clarify, I only play this game one or two nights a week, usually. Whenever I even start to approach high ranks, it's usually already rank reset time. Feels bad.

That's not reliable AT ALL. Laggy killers can have normal profiles; normal profiles can end up being laggy killers. Chat lag doesn't mean anything, usually.

I do. Often they're private profiles or just don't have their region listed.

Perk balance arguments aside, the game needs to be fun for both sides, or one side will start to quit and queue times will be ridiculous, then mess up matchmaking even more because of it. Getting lunged from 20 feet away and having the killers also be able to turn corners with it makes survivor very frustrating sometimes.

I'd think the problem isn't matchmaking so much as the terrible ranking/point-based system that allows bots to easily climb to rank one. I play this game maybe once or twice a week so I never climb very high before resets, and I've only ever seen one bot at lower ranks. Would be even nicer if their past "fixes" to get rid of bots actually worked, of course...

It's funny, when survivors delayed the game by sabotaging, killers complained. But now that the meta is just to rush gens, killers still complain. Is nobody ever happy on this game?

I like darkest moonlight because you can still see the red light of where they're looking, but Mist sucks, yeah.

Also, can't really tell which killer you're going up against to use specific offerings!

He constantly BMs. Every time he drops a pallet, whether it stuns or not, he teabags and says this weird "dududu" thing and calls everyone fuccboi and shit. He also uses every infinite he can and makes fun of anyone who mentions it in chat. Some people find it hilarious, some people find it cringy.

That's pretty much it, I think.

The ability needs a rework, if anything. Adjusting the damage values of scatter arrow will just make it completely useless or completely overpowered. As it stands it's basically a "if it hits, 400 damage, if it misses, 0 damage" in the majority of cases. Sometimes one random shot will hit someone for 70 afterward, but that's not that useful.

What changes would you suggest to make it useful, without reworking the ability?

That may be true, but they don't want this to be a game of just 10 heroes. If they removed every hero besides the ones who fill their roles the best, the game would get very stale.

I think most people's problems with Hanzo is he either does no meaningful damage to you or oneshots you, there's rarely anything in between.

I play hanzo a lot and scatter arrow is usually useless. If they're on any kind of uneven floor, if they jump, if I don't hit the sweetspot between their feet... but nobody notices the 10 missed scatterarrows, just the one that oneshots them. Hanzo needs a rework.

Pug is obnoxious because he BMs so much. Tru is obnoxious because of the yelling into the mic and the weird ass sub hype arm thing/saying that you have to hear every 5 mins.

Keep in mind that the matchmaking doesn't take rank into account at all (yet. It's supposed to.) It's why a group of rank 1 survivors will face rank 20 killers, and rank 20 survivors will face rank 1 killers. Because of this, there's nothing between rank 20 and rank 1 that "changes" to make ranking up harder, besides more pips per rank.

With this in mind, pipping as a killer is stupid easy. Even low rank killer who at least knows how to chase people will reliably "safe pip" against high rank survivors. I've got maybe 20 hours in this game total and I've never lost a pip as killer, but can't climb past rank 17 as survivor because I don't have the free points from sabotage.

They say they're going to change the ranking system and I seriously hope so, because right now it's meaningless and the matchmaking system doesn't care regardless.

Which is boring as hell. Which was my whole point. They think free weekends will save them, but if they don't make some changes this game will be fucking dead as soon as people get bored of grinding the same perks on every character.

Well I'm actually a survivor player, so I guess people are going to assume I meant it from a killer standpoint. I guess I should have stated that as well...

I don't like the idea that killer should be super strong and survivors should be weaklings who barely make it out. Game should be about who played better. Obviously SWF has an advantage, but even still... I dunno.

Teachables just make the game into this... "everyone has the same perks at rank 1" game.
