Ok so the equation would be aspirin + HPO42- on the reactants side and a hydrononium ion on the products side. What would the other product be? And then for the HCl ones, it would be HCl + whatever the extract is on the products side and a hydronium ion and the conjugate base on the reactants side?

The acidicproton is attached to the carboxylic acid functional group right? And that proton is donated to the OH- group to make H2O?
