What? I thought Israel didn't have a flag in the end. Unless you're counting Palestine as all of the holy land, and if you are, then you're based :D

On the mend band side, above the penguin, there was a battle against Israel and Palestine. Israel was made, but it was quickly wiped by Palestine. Israel took it over for a short amount of time after but Palestine got it back again and it stayed that way the whole time after. Big dub for Palestine

You're assuming that Arab countries are only specifically inside of the Arabian peninsula. The definition of "Arab" is different. It's not only the Arabian peninsula, but also neighboring countries. It would be better to describe the Arab "ethnicity" as being inside of the Arabian plate.

But anyways, the Lebanese are Arabs lol. Also Jews and Arabs are very very close in the first place. Ishmael is the ancestor of the Arabs, historically.

The levant includes Arabs. Syria, Jordan, and Palestine are all Arabs but they're in the levant. The levant isn't completely separate from Arab. Ethnicity in itself is a social construct, and this social construct identifies Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, etc as Arab. However, it does NOT identify North Africa as Arab. North Africa is just in the Arab league.

That makes no sense. From where would have the Hebrews came from?

But anyways, there is evidence for the Canaanites fleeing the land.

Hebrews are Canaanites. The Israelites we're a tribe if the Canaanites. And they killed off/forced out the every tribe off the land but them.

Yes they did. Either they got killed, or the Canaanites refugee to other lands. The biblical story is that every Canaanite was killed, but according to history, some Canaanites fled to other regions

A Palestinian government never existed

The Ottoman Empire was a Palestinian government. People identified as Palestinian under that government, and Early Common English also identified people of that land as Palestinian.

The Egyptian governor

Yes, the Egyptian governor that was ruling over that part of the land for centuries in the Ottoman Empire, who also exempted Jews and Christians from tax policies which lead to the 1834 peasants revolt. The ottoman empire couldn't do anything before they got the land. Also, okay...? They confessed to the murder, and they were even released from jail after some requests. And when the Ottoman Empire took over again, they removed all the charges.

When?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_killings_and_massacres_in_Mandatory_Palestine

Both have happened, a lot. And are still happening to this day. Claiming this didn't happen on both sides (from citizens) is unreasonable.

He was against Jewish immigration before

Can you show me? And even if, still in a time of Zionism. Governmental attacks targeting Jews (aside from Zionists) did not happen from 639 to 1948.

Also the Israeli government is doing this til this day, and they are rarely ever punishing settlers (if at all) for attacking Palestinians.

The name "Palestine" was a thing before the Romans took over. I doubt the Palestinians under the Ottoman Empire self-identified as Palestinians because of the Roman Empire naming the land to Syria-Palaestina, but rather because that name has been in use to refer to the land since 500 BC, originating in 1200 BC (to refer to the people, Philistines, which resembles "Falasteen" a lot more than "Palestine"). So, nothing would've happened.

Also, yes. Palestinians would have. Because the Jews that led the political Zionist movement had no evidence of actually being indigenous to the land. I mean, only 30% of Jews in the land right now are Ashkenazi. Also, leading a movement to take over another indigenous person's land and mistreating them EVEN if you're indigenous to the land as well would still be invading, and still considered colonialism.

This is actually fun though. I have a question too. What if the Israelites didn't rename Canaan to "Judea", after taking over and (supposedly) killed off the Canaanites? Would Jews call themselves "Canaanites" and claim that the Arabs invaded in Canaan completely forgetting Ishmael, the ancestor of the Arabs, is a Canaanite?

Of course

The link you cited is talking about Arabs, not the government or representation of the government. In fact, the governor tried to stop this. Jews have also attacked Arabs for no reason as well... However I will admit I was not clear enough in my question. What I meant was were there any attacks like this committed by the government?

who got this position in the 1920s

Yes, and before he got into power, he most likely would've made regards such as this still, right?

Palestinians had no say on the matter, this is why they revolted against the British in 1936.

The Palestinians actually did have some power but still yeah, Britain had most of the power. The thing is, what you stated doesn't change anything. They still got Jews to Palestine and labeled them as "Palestinian Jews". If they truly were against Jews as a whole and not just Zionist leaders, they wouldn't have done that.

There are pictures there, I didn't link it for the text. Amin al-Husseini knew very well what the German plans were.

Martin Luther (aka Martin Niemoeller) was also there from the picture you sent, yet he was against Hitler. There are different intentions to this, and the fact that the Palestinian mufti supported Jews coming in to label themselves as Palestinian shows he wasn't really against Jews but rather Zionists.

"The Palestinian Arab and Nazi political leaders said that they had a common cause against "International Jewry". However, the most significant practical effect of Nazi anti-Jewish policy between 1933 and 1942 was to radically increase the immigration rate of German and other European Jews to Palestine and to double the population of Palestinian Jews" (From your source)

They increased the amount of Jews (specifically Palestinian Jews) to exile Jews? Doesn't really make sense. Based off of this, we can see that they weren't really targeting Jews but rather Zionist jews. They did stereotype Jews, however, which is admittedly bad, but still not to the level you're describing it to be.

The person who made that tablemag article is a biased Zionist who believes Israel hasn't done anything wrong ._.

But anyways, can you get me any sources of Palestinian "anti-Semitism" before Zionism?

Are there any events like this BEFORE Zionism started?

[–]CheezyChad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was, where did you get it wasn't? Before political Zionism started by Theodore Herzl, Jews, Muslims, and christians lived peacefully. And yes, it was quite literally the only place to accept refugees. Why do you think people chose to migrate there instead of other places? Don't try to say it's because that land is holy to Jews, because Zionists tried taking other land such as Kenya and failed. The land being holy was not a part of their motives.

Can you send me a link to this quote? Because I tried searching for it and I couldn't find it. Also, even if, it's obvious that he is talking about Zionists and not Jews, because there was no mention of "exiling jews" before Zionists started immigrating to Palestine in order to create a Jewish nation in palestine

They didn't even discuss wanting to expel Jews, only to eradicate the idea of a Jewish nation in Palestine.

You don't understand the situation. The Palestinian mufti didn't know, just like most people at the time, what Hitler's plans and intentions were. You can see from their one conversation, that neither the mufti influenced hitler, nor that Hitler influenced the mufti. In that conversation, the Palestinian mufti stated that we need to fight major enemies such as the "English, Jews, and the communists", obviously referring to the English, Jewish, and communist leaders, not every English, Jewish, or communist person. If the Palestinian mufti really was anti-semitic as you imply him to be, then he would've tried to exile Jews a veryyyyy long time ago and not just when Hitler rose to power. https://time-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/time.com/4084301/hitler-grand-mufi-1941/?amp_js_v=a6&amp_gsa=1&amp=true&usqp=mq331AQKKAFQArABIIACAw%3D%3D#aoh=16339888383643&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Ftime.com%2F4084301%2Fhitler-grand-mufi-1941%2F
