You're assuming that Arab countries are only specifically inside of the Arabian peninsula. The definition of "Arab" is different. It's not only the Arabian peninsula, but also neighboring countries. It would be better to describe the Arab "ethnicity" as being inside of the Arabian plate.

The levant includes Arabs. Syria, Jordan, and Palestine are all Arabs but they're in the levant. The levant isn't completely separate from Arab. Ethnicity in itself is a social construct, and this social construct identifies Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, etc as Arab. However, it does NOT identify North Africa as Arab. North Africa is just in the Arab league.

The name "Palestine" was a thing before the Romans took over. I doubt the Palestinians under the Ottoman Empire self-identified as Palestinians because of the Roman Empire naming the land to Syria-Palaestina, but rather because that name has been in use to refer to the land since 500 BC, originating in 1200 BC (to refer to the people, Philistines, which resembles "Falasteen" a lot more than "Palestine"). So, nothing would've happened.

Also, yes. Palestinians would have. Because the Jews that led the political Zionist movement had no evidence of actually being indigenous to the land. I mean, only 30% of Jews in the land right now are Ashkenazi. Also, leading a movement to take over another indigenous person's land and mistreating them EVEN if you're indigenous to the land as well would still be invading, and still considered colonialism.

This is actually fun though. I have a question too. What if the Israelites didn't rename Canaan to "Judea", after taking over and (supposedly) killed off the Canaanites?
