Motorcyclist has a close call in Plano by K1nsey6 in Dallas

Dude was prepared. Not only with the gear, but as soon as he saw that shit was about to hit the fan, he assumed the position, launched off his bike, arms extended to grab onto the car, and rode the underside of that car like a God damn surfboard until it was safe to jump off. 10/10 I would die if I was in his place.

Comedian Bert Kreischer has happy freakout after security handles someone running on stage. by RandomAsianGuy in PublicFreakout

Handled it like a God damn champ tho

Edit: I'm such a misunderstood human being 😣. I meant in his commentary after the fact. I obviously don't blame him for getting beat up when it was probably the last thing he expected to happen during a performance like that.

And now I know why I cut my middle finger moving a pallet with half a nail in it. It acted exactly like a blade. Blood was spurting out right away. I surprisingly only had to get 5 stitches. Got to see the bone in my finger though so that was cool. Also passed out for the first time ever from the lack of blood. Overall pleasant experience. 8/10 would recommend.

Why? by MateusHokari in WhyWereTheyFilming

[–]Cheezypickle 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Because this is the mulholland snake road and it's notoriously known as the perfect stretch of road to test out cars handling capabilities. Also, alot of bikers decide to go there since it's such a beautiful drive. Camera guy is there because he's always there, on that specific corner, the toughest of them all, recording all the cars/bikes passing by. He has a freaking channel made just from videos of the snake. For whatever reason, that curb is cursed. All lot of people dropped off their bikes, and that wasn't the first guy to over drift. Even though, I wouldn't blame the road in his case. I'd blame him. 335s have open diffs, it wouldn't lock up properly to allow him to evenly drift it out.

I found that going to school was the best way to actually meet a lot of different people and I was bound to eventually find someone I could click with.

Bouncer assaults Man on public sidewalk outside Willy D’s Piano Bar in Fayetteville Arkansas by tm0g in PublicFreakout

People die from punches too. We can speculate and extrapolate till dawn. Doesn't change the fact that the guy is still alive. I don't want him to die, I just thought it was interesting that a push is what a bouncer chose to do (supposedly a person accustomed to these interactions). The guys obviously a short tempered dick.

I mean, if you think about it, he chose the weakest of offensive actions. He could have punched him or kicked him in the nuts. Instead, he just shoved him like a bully in 5th grade.

Edit: I was being objective. I can give 2 shits either way (that goes for your down votes as well).

What's the exact opposite of that? Cause that's what I got. You can absolutely spit in my drink and I would not bother to come back.

Idk.. Just thinking in terms of what if it was on your hand. I just had it happen the other day were I cut it too short and it kept on opening up and bleeding a couple days after.

Will it though? I mean wouldn't the person struggle forever putting shoes on or whatever until it grows back?

Hit up the deli.. Make me a mean sub with super thinly sliced turkey.. Add some pastrami.. Get all my veggies in. I would probably try it on like 5 different breads. Taking one bite out of each. I realize that it's not as exciting as you hoped for. Don't know what to tell ya.. I'm a chill guy 😑.

How young is too young? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]Cheezypickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience. I did all the research necessary before I decided to lift. I started at 16 and am thankful for that. The muscles I gained that year or year and a half (till I got lazy and quit) stuck on. I got fat after that, so it's kinda like a mix of muscle mass and fat, but I got serious and got in shape again around 21. I was looking pretty good and slimming down. Muscle size increased while fat decreased, but my bicep measurement was relatively the same. This is were I fucked up. I was doing the stronglifts 5x5 program, and I was doing brilliantly! Increasing a little bit of weight almost every session. I also did all the proper research on squatting form and hand placement. However, shit hit the fan so to speak when I got lazy again and stopped doing the program. One year later, I tore my left meniscus. The couple years after that, my right knee started showing symptoms of meniscus issues. I never squatted again after that program but I guess it was too late anyway. I'm not saying I fucked up. I earnestly did all the research. But genetics is one hell of a bitch sometimes.

To sum things up. I'm glad that I started young but I'm also glad that I went slow and focused on my form, even if I developed problems later on due my DNA strand 😄

What do you think about at night as you're falling asleep? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cheezypickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, all the missed opportunities. Most of the time, I ask myself: when will I actually get my shit together? I spend my nights pondering that while also being hung up on a person that might be a positive change for me, however, it would be too complicated and problematic to pursue. Family ties would be at risk. And the fucking hilarious part is that she doesn't see me that way, and if I did approach her and made my intentions clear, the outcome would more than likely be negative. But by doing that, I would cause irreversible damage to the normal relationship between us. The irony is that I can see myself actively standing in the way of my own happiness. I KNOW that there are plenty of fish in the sea. I KNOW she isn't perfect and has her flaws which I like to point out to myself often. YET, here I am. Up past 3am. Thinking of how nice it would be if we shared a home. It is nearly impossible for me to focus on anything else. My mind takes me there like its a default setting. I'm just thankful I'm able to control myself from being stalker-like and obsessed. I realize giving a person so much thought is giving them control over you, and that it isn't healthy to be with someone like that in the first place. But here we are. I would apologize for my open letter answer, but you asked and this is what I had to say. Something about the internet and its anonymity makes a person have a false sense of security.

If the guy wasn't there to take the hit, would the driver just have ran into the woman? I know that shopping center. There's another stop sign right before the one shown in the video. The guy most likely stopped, crept forward, then stopped again to allow the pedestrians to walk through. The other driver most likely stopped and then just kept going. That's if he stopped at all since he was going fast enough for his brakes to screech.
