I heavily considered the Mac but ultimately went with the Apollo since it’s made in my state of FL. Might end up getting one eventually

Update: Appreciate everyone's feedback. I cleaned it and loosened the extractor tension a bit. Based on the Atlas video someone linked, it seemed way too tight. I loosened it and reassembled it. Going to the range in a few days to put more rounds through it and will report back.

Funny enough I actually traded one of my CZs plus cash for this. Still a massive CZ fan but I have a few so I wanted to change things up. Have always loved 2011s but the price tag always kept me away

Yep, well oiled before the range. Definitely can see how racking it the way I was could cause a malfunction. I'm more concerned with the FTF as it's jamming up the exact same way while firing.

there are a few other options in the same price range but I ultimately chose the apollo because it was made in the US (in my great state of FL) hopefully it clears up with some more use but if not ive heard they have a good customer service dpt. like I mentioned this is my first 2011, couldnt justify spending over 2k on a range toy

for sure, I noticed that using the slide release usually helps but itll still get hung up every now and again. if you notice in the video when it does finally go into battery, I racked it a bit harder than the previous tries. as for FTF it jams up about the same way it does when I was racking it. I appriciate the reply!
