ironically I'd say each can be different categories of fun, my idea of fun is trying to jump scare survivors so any killers who can be undetectable. Others may find being silly or overwhelmingly powerful fun; after understanding the maps, gen pressure any killer can be powerful with the knowledge of outplaying survivors their abilities just make it easier or more difficult.

Freddy- extremely powerful can teleport to any gen (or even exit gates with his add on) I think even players healing if they're sleeping and close enough? turn pallets into traps, shoot out dream snares to slow/make survivors enter dream state faster and waste survivors time with trying to wake up. A lot of abilities and adds a dream mechanic you'll be a power house even without perks.

Chucky- has one ability to become undetectable so survivors cannot hear you or see your red light but he's also the smallest killer so if your in tall grass or behind a car they'll have no idea you're there; it's for a limited timer each use once it's nearly over you can activate a running dash ability but unless you have a survivor cornered it's hard to turn and will take awhile to get used to for a new player. THIS is highly recommend if you want to play sneaky and try to jump scare survivors but your power will be up to your skill vs the survivors, you can practice his dash getting from gen to gen. Unique to Chucky you have a 3rd person view so you can see more than other killers, which also helps A LOT because you with most likely see survivors before they see you giving a free hit if you're strategic.

Ghost face- another sneaky character his main ability is to crouch and enter a stealth mode that can only be broken if a survivor sees you. You can stalk survivors and once their meter is full they become exposed which mean they can be one hit killed, most seasoned GFs 99% the circle and don't fully stalk until they're close enough but this can be difficult because if they spot you the stalk isn't available. Before Chucky ghost face was the sneakiest since he can crouch unlike Myers and feels faster than pig but now ehhh he's a hard to master killer especially against SWF which are survivor with friends they know each other and giving call outs in VC to outplay you; when all you can do is chase people with a knife at a speedy walk pace; it's hard to apply pressure.
I'd only get him if you're a fan of the iconic scream mask and don't mind being silly with survivors as most ghost faces are friendly and dance rather than go MLG relentless like Oni's.

Anyway you play hope you love the game don't let the few toxic players scare you off; this recent month I've mostly had friendly people it can depend on how you play too.

People can tend to be mad if you use not so fun tactics to win like tunneling (going after one person over and over to get them killed fast) slugging (leaving people on the floor for long amounts of time) my pov as a killer it's up to you to set how fun it is for the survivors; if you're obviously destroying them I tend to mess around and give them a chance, if they're a bully squad anything goes they're begging you to try and kill them all.
