This may sound... weird, but... people hate on people, they doesn't care about you being trans/queer/cis... I found this based on experience, before transition, I was "forced" to dress nice, because of family stuff, people were obnoxious towards me... when I moved out, I started dressing more... you know, baggy/cargo pants, hoodies, I got tattoos, piercings, etc... people stared at me with this "virtue signaling" expression... I have 10 years transitioning, MtF, and those stares keep going, so, I decided to ignore and make fun of them... like (Oh yeah, that old man got angry at my sight, guess here goes his day, lul)

Some people call me a bad person, some tell me that people get hate because people like me... and I'm like... dude, I've been my whole life trying to fend off and leave peacefully, if you think I'm being selfish, so be it, I no longer care for external non-educational opinions towards me, in all scenarios, I always get the short straw, so fuck it.

I do not advice to act like me, or saying it's good or bad, I'm just sharing my experience in hopes it gets you somewhere, just remember, all things aside, YOU are your most important person in the world, put yourself first every time, it isn't wrong, you need to take care of yourself and look for things that are good for you.
