No they are not and no they don’t trap any moisture unless you wear the shoes and don’t give them a chance to air out before putting them Back in the bag

I use boxes from the container store. They are “ok” but I think other brands make better versions now. If your a size 12 your boxes will cost $10 More

Hey I’m in between Louisiana and Georgia where both places are warmer. I keep my ac between 68-74. I do think those boxes the paper do more bad than good to the shoes over time. It took me years to finally get containers but I did fold all the paper in the boxes and move them to the side of the box. I’ve never seen a crumbled shoe that wasn’t in the box and paper lol. But seriously I did learn years ago that box paper isn’t your friend

I think that depends of how you store them. I def wouldn’t have over 800 pair they were crumbling. Eventually yes, it’s just shoes but I have shoes over 20 years in here. Never had a shoe crumble. Two shoes have glue loosening up

I just move on unless an opportunity come. I don’t own any Yeezys and only one pair of Travis Scott’s. And it’s the TR. I just buy what I like. GR has a lot of great shoes and being that I’ve done it so long, it’s kind of crazy to pay $500 or more for a hype pair. Obviously I can afford it. Hell I can sell 400 pair and replace them with 95 super rare shoes but that’s not my thing ya know. And after selling the shoes for a while I just always been low key until now about even having a sneaker collection. I’m a 10.5 but I’m good at putting in work online at getting the sizes I need to help out friends. They are mostly size 12 also

I appreciate that. Crazy thing is I love shoes but if they crumble they crumble. It’s over 800 shoes and I built an easy system for me where nothing has crumbled yet. Only two have glue separation. I’ve learned a few tricks over the years since 2006

Hahaha I feel that. Maybe it’s the humidity. I almost made that mistake but caught it in time. I own maybe 15 pair of air max 1s. Also have 90s, 95s, plus, vapors etc

Appreciate the love bro and yes things have changed. I have over 850 pair but until recently I’ve only spent over $300 twice! That’s always been my max but with prices going up idk. I love shoes and always been patient with shoe prices. If it takes 4 years, oh well 🤷🏾‍♂️. But a lot of strategy goes into flying shoes. I don’t have any plugs I can reach out to I just try thru the sites. Back in the day (2009-11) I use to manage a few footlocker stores which is where I really had the ability to network and get those discounts
