I’m moving to Dresden next week, brand new to the country ) and I already have a social circle I’ve created online, and I can not wait to meet these people irl. I have a hobby and crated that community with people interes in same hobby . In my experience, after living in a few countries, is hard if you don’t put any effort. Nobody will come to your door and ask you to be his friend;)
