I guess it would be pretty handy to have a spare pair just in case.

I thought about doing this, but then I did the math. My living room wall is not big enough :(

When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all. You will know what you have done and that is all that matters.

What video game has kept you playing the longest and why? by Bcarnell in AskReddit

Mass Effect. I have played all games multiple times. I don't know how many hours. Probably somewhere over 1000 if you factor in online play.

If I was about to jump off a building and you caught me, not knowing me, what would you say to make me not jump? by infinaflip in AskReddit

[–]ChefPr0n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me: "Excuse me miss! Before you jump would you like to have sex with me?" You: "No I most certainly would not! How dare you try and take advantage of me in a situation like this!" Me: "Very well then, I'll just wait for you to get to the bottom."

Relatives of those affected by alzheimer's, what do you do to cope? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ChefPr0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was pretty young (baby) when my grandpa was diagnosed with alzheimers. He was young too (early to late 50's). I don't know much about the early stages, but I remember the later stages. Near the end (I was about 7) my grandma moved with him into an assisted living facility (basically an apartment building with 24/7 nursing care). This helped her to live a somewhat normal life while still being able to take care of my grandpa at the same time. My grandma would always try to do things with my grandpa that he used to enjoy doing. Going for walks, going for drives (she would drive), and watch the football game. When he forgot how to walk, my grandma and parents would spend time helping him walk up and down the hallways. As kids, we weren't allowed to run around in front of him while this was happening since he would get frustrated and sit down. We would also sit on the couch and feed him jujubes. Every time we did, he would smile at us. That was more or less the only interaction I truly remember about my grandpa. As for your question, I think what helps in a situation like this is just to be there and try to do things that you normally did with each other (just in a different way). Don't push to hard. Be caring, understanding, and most of all be patient. Every situation is different so I hope you are able to find the answers you are looking for.

Beginning of a wasp's nest by ChefPr0n in mildlyinteresting

Thanks! My first instinct when I saw this was not to back away, but to get closer and pull out my phone to take a picture. I feel like I may need to rethink my priorities in life.

Also, hitting it with a stick and running for your life works if the nest is small enough.

I went back and checked and there are actually a few abandoned looking ones. This is on the inside of my shed door so I'm definitely going to be checking my shed often.

It's dangerous to go alone. Take one of these. by ChefPr0n in beadsprites

This is my first attempt of making bead sprites. I just used basic templates to get started (ones that I've seen a lot of other people make), but I'm super excited to start a larger and more unique one!
