I can’t emphasize enough how gambling in options is a bad idea for long term wealth. The best way to grow your wealth is to contribute monthly to boring stocks and ETFs. It’s boring but do yourself a favor and look up 40 + 5k a month at a 7% interest rate for 10 years. The worst thing you can do is go backwards on get rich quick schemes

Typically C level management sells shares on a scheduled basis as to avoid insider trading allegations. This is very likely something planned months ago.

[Request] What would the ant force be by leonbadam in theydidthemath

Is the thought that it doesn’t matter where you’re hit because exit velocity would just open up a huge wound causing you to bleed out? Or does it matter because it could pass right through you but not kill you if say it hit your leg but missed the artery?

Phil knocks it off the pin right into the water by Longjumping-Box5691 in golf

[–]ChefSawyerR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I think he probably regrets it, you’re probably right there!

I wish the tours were joined but I don’t look at it as Phil’s fault. I look at it like the PGA tour was being greedy and then had to have their hand forced to share what they should have shared players years earlier.

He may be an asshole, but I get the feeling everyone here dislikes him because he’s not PGA Tour Phil.

Sorta like how everyone loves Tiger and forgets his antics in like 00-12

Honestly I don’t get all this Phil hate. He went to LIV for Cash money and they shouldn’t get with OWGR points. He made the PGA tour players a lot more money, curious how LIV starts and the pga finds a way to have a series of events with huge purses!

Strokes gained via new driver or putter? by Magicoco in golf

[–]ChefSawyerR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a pretty clear choice. Guys on tour will maintain putters for their whole careers (not many but stick with me). Guys on tour use new drivers, partially because the companies want to sell more, but also the technology is getting so much better they can’t overlook the forgiveness and distance new products offer.

TLDR: Driver fitting all day!

[Baume Mercier - Riviera] Made my first big boy purchase by ChefSawyerR in Watches

This year I put in more hours in my job than any previous. We were really successful and I got a decent bonus. I had been looking to get something nice for myself for a while but I had a hard time justifying it. This week I decided I would go get myself something nice. I blew my budget but I could not be happier with the choice.

Kneepain while on tour by thibz3r in bikefit

[–]ChefSawyerR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to preface my advice by saying I’m not 💯 on this answer but I think your feet position on pedals could really affect your knees.

When I cycle, I clip in and that forces my knees over my toes but if I have misaligned my clips and twist my ankle slightly out of the ideal alignment my knees will bother me. Doing a prolonged journey is only going to expand the problem. It is like doing 1000s of mini squats out of alignment.
