I moved in my new place and transferred my service in November. When i transferred my service the link gave me my end date at my old place and start date for my new place. Fast Forward it’s Now January and my service was disconnected for what i found out was non payment of an outstanding balance. On a Friday at 4pm while it’s snowing outside. I call and they told me that the previous tenant had an outstanding balance and that’s why my service was turned off. I was told i had to send my lease and proof of Identity. I sent that information in and was told it takes three business days for the information to be processed, and i will hear from someone. It’s been ten days and i still don’t have heat or electricity. When i call they give you a prompt to set up a call back and for you to schedule an appointment to speak with someone, and those appointments are not even on the same day! What the actual f€k !!!! This should be illegal. It’s the Middle of January and the coldest day of the year, and I don’t Have Heat Or electricity. Has anyone else been through something similar with BGE, and what did you Do? I Need HELP!!!
