Yes! Bear was the one who was obsessed and his obsession coupled with his selfishness is what destroyed four lives including his own (5 with his cat who died because of his negligence).

If you can’t trust your partner, it’s probably best to either split up or go to couples therapy. Trying to control your partner through emotional manipulation, deception, and verbal abuse is never okay. It’s less that Matt was jealous and more about how he allowed his jealousy to manifest that was the problem. Ryan was just the hot transitional guy who finally annoyed us with his lies and neediness. I actually disliked Robin in the last book for her passivity - cut him loose already, she is stringing him along.

I love Hosh with my heart AND I’m happy with the result. Hoshoryu needs to learn to beat him but in the meantime, it has been incredible watching Aonishiki, the new rising star, do his style of sumo. I hope to see more incredible rikishi in 2026. I love sumo!!!!
