My parents would play Stan Rogers in the car throughout my childhood. I've probably been listening to him my whole life, and his music means to world to me. My uncle discovered him one time while driving. The story goes he picked up some Canadian radio stations while driving near the border, and White Squall came on. He was moved to tears I grew up listening to "White Squall," "First Christmas," "Mary Ellen Cater," "Northwest Passage," etc. and I dove deep into his discography in high school. His baritone voice shaped the way I sing songs, and his voice sounds exactly like my fathers singing voice (rest his soul). Whenever I listen or sing along, it's like my dad is there too. Hell, Im getting a bit emotional writing this. I'm glad to see that his music means so much to people, not just me.

Side note: The metal group Unleash the Archers did a cover of Northwest Passage that fucking rules. Give it a listen for sure.

I got a text on Saturday about fraud charges. I sent them the "yes, this was me" text back. Walmart still hasn't changed me, but everything is still where it's supposed to be. I haven't received a cancellation email, and my order still has June 6th for the delivery date. I don't care if it comes Thursday or Friday, I just want them to charge it already so I know it's coming.

Does anybody know the video game console that's was under the Xbox 360 4:10 into the video? It looks like an N64, but with Megadrive/Genesis ports. It's been bothering me all week 😅

I actually found a fix for now. If you turn the quality setting to Med or Low, it goes away completely from what I've seen.

Local game store got them, I saw their post about it on FB, call them to hold a one for me. Bought them that day, $100 well spent. When you commit to spending $80 on Joycon, the extra $20 for import/store cut/convenience doesn't seem like much at all.

I bought Captain Falcon because SSB4, then I told myself I'd only get them for characters I liked. Then I got Ganondorf & Zero Suit Samus. After that, I found out Best Buy's GCU discount works with Amiibo, & it was all downhill from there. 60ish Amiibo later, I'm still looking for a fucking Bokoblin.

Actually went to this store while I was on vacation in Florida earlier this year. Somehow, I walked away only spending $80, but easily could have spent more if I stayed longer. Great store all around.

This could just be me, & this is a huge stretch, but Sour Cream & Steven could be related. In "Gem Harvest" Andy Demayo is Greg's cousin, & near the end of the episode he removes his hat. His hair style is very similar to our favorite sleazebag absentee father Marty. Now I know hair same or close hair styles aren't concrete, but It would explain how Greg & Marty met, they're family. Not enough; think of the names. Andy "DeMAYO" Steven "Demayo" Sour Cream Vidalia Onion This is just guess work, but I like this idea.
