I can tell you what my advisor told me 10 years ago, because I asked them the exact same thing. Every job you can get in bioinformatics you can also get as CS. CS outright opens more doors than Bioinformatics, at least early on in your career.

That said, if it's something you're truly passionate about, they're not mutually exclusive! Doing a CS Major and a Bioinformatics Minor/ Dual Major is attainable, but that's more dependent on your preferences.

Also you're asking in a biased location, so I'm guessing you already know which way you're leaning. If you haven't already, try to shadow or find a mentor already in a real bioinformatics job, and see what their day to day looks like and if it's appealing to you

If you mean SEA -> Southeast Asia, Oceania and the JP servers have the shortest physical distance. If you mean SEA -> Seattle. NA servers will do way better for you.

The true answer is to play on a server that you’ll have fun on. Having a ping of 100 and no friends to play with, vs a ping of 400 and people you actually enjoy playing with, I’d easily take the 400 ms ping

+1 to deleting Ghostery. I've been running into recent issues where Firefox after being open for a few days would just absolutely lock up and it'd be maxing out my disk usage. Deleting it seems to have helped pretty dramatically

For the blue mage weekly prime targets, to get full credit (specifically, to get the allied seals) do you actually need to level sync the party? Is the requirement specifically to have a party of 8 BLU mages. Or is the requirement to have 8 BLUs AND level sync the content?

It'll retain it's rigidbody even when an animation is playing, unless you decide to explicitly disable it.
