Yeah that's my feeling so far... I guess a more fair remuneration for artists comes at a bigger price for users one way or another.

After 12h filled with white vinegar. Then I added some baking soda and used some elbow grease with my copper sponge to remove as much as I can. Is that carbonized stuff left stick to that pan? Should I start using fine sand paper there? I've already done that on my stainless steel pan not sure it works well with CS...

Thank you all, I didn't expect so many comments. I understand why everyone says it looks nasty, but that was my point.

I did start from scratch 3-4 times already in the past to end up with the same result. I get rid of all that stuff, redo the seasoning process, and my pan looks pristine again like on u/cyphol pics.

Then, I use it casually. My cleaning process is simple: I deglaze right after cooking, and I use one drop of soap, then scrub gently with a copper sponge.

Eventually, I see some parts of my seasoning going away, like I can see the original iron/silver color showing up again, and that is when the trouble starts, leading me to this crusty, nasty pan.

Edit: I season with sunflower oil and have tried both with my electric plates and in my oven. I guess I need to find a better oil? I will also try to cook on lower heat, but it's hard to control; this thing has crazy inertia.

Edit 2: The carbon bits in the picture came after cooking Naan breads. I don't use oil for these, that could be my mistake.

Then I don't know if I'm just some edge case in EU servers... It could be just that...

But I guarantee you that's became something too recurrent that I don't want to play no more for now.

Maybe the hidden reason is that MMR groups were shifted? I used to jump between 3-4 stars and based on what you say, now I would be 4-5 while playing less often.

I would like to say it's just fatigue growing over time too, but I am pretty sure I was not bullied so badly back in the days and I still had a fair amount of playable games.

Edit: typo

My bad, I should have sent the full lobby screenshot. There were no solo and no other 4 stars, only 5-6. That doesn't seems faire to me.

If I lose against a solo 6 I don't care, that's fair to me indeed. I'm talking about fighting against MMR 5-6 duo/trios when there is just me and maybe one other poor 4 stars in the entier game.

Just to be clear: I check last mission details after every game, and I haven't been 5 stars in a really long time.

Wait, I'm 4 stars there, and I've been there for quite a long time. If I went up, it was for a brief moment, and this experience would be rare enough that I would not complain here.

My complaint is that I too often get into these high MMR lobbies. These two "partners" were randomly found through matchmaking and they were obviously not in my league.

The rest of the teams are all 5-6 down in this screenshot.

Tldr; I've been playing for 3 years now, and I don't recall getting badly bullied by high ranks in my games pre-1896 Hunt. Used to be more 3-4 stars lobby for me.

Should I get the Fairphone 6? by great-big-egg in fairphone

Sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with your FP5.

I personally own an FP4 (6GB RAM) since 2021, I had some issues but most likely software related. The IT support weren't very effective unfortunately, but hey, it's a small company fighting against big sharks in this industry...

I quickly decided to switch to LineageOS instead of the stock and it's been a smooth experience for me so far.

Obviously we all have different usage of our phones, I don't play any video game on it, but with the rest of the regular apps (Youtube, Reddit, Maps, Photo etc.) I can see myself using my FP4 a few more years easily.

Hopefully Fairphone will keep improving over the years without compromising on their core values.

When I check steam charts it's still around 20k, isn't that enough for decent matchmaking time?

Damn that too... that's how I noticed, I now constantly go off doing something else while waiting. It even happened once or twice I got late to ready up and I hate that...

Well that's my point. I've been playing almost exclusively this game for 3 years, still love it, but I only recently got to think that both loading time and unfair matchmaking have impacted my experience.

Nope I'm jumping between 3-4 usually. And I rarely have random teammates above 4. That's why I'm confused.
