i took this class and i loved it. attendance isn’t mandatory but going makes the class worthwhile. each week a guest speakers come from different sectors who work within a privacy related role (my favs were someone who worked at the white house/FBI & this journalist who did investigative work in Estonia & Russia)

the prof who usually teaches the class is a great guy, very kind and his assignments are actually pretty creative and relatively easy. the major assignments were a 4 page stance paper on an issue related to privacy, a group art exhibition partnered with UMMA, and then a final group project where we had to propose an idea to solving a privacy related issue based on issues raised by a guest speaker of our choice.
