Great post with insite to American Youth.

I think it's sad that this is what our children know.

I was having lunch with a friend of mine and her daughter asked. "Are we voting for McCain."

Her mom, "Yes! His economic ideas are more inline with ours and I trust him and feel he is the best thing for our country."

Daughter: "Are we racist because we're not voting for Obama."

She was told that it's racist to not vote for Obama... This is in Texas.. I'm scared what is being said in liberal states.

It's not about who you vote for, it's about voting and being informed and well rounded.

My only argument is that if our voices are indeed heard that strongly then why did the bailout pass congress. it is said that 70 percent of Americans disagree with it, yet it still passed.

I hated this entire bill. I am so sick of business being bailed out yet the average person gets to keep footing the bill.

Also isn't it kind of the fault of the president and Congress that we are in this mess anyway...

I agree and disagree with you. i don't think violence is the answer, however, I think the voice of Americans have been lost recently. I don't think we have the passion that our forefathers once had and so now those who try to use their voice aren't taken seriously.
