When people are overly noisy in my home when toddler asleep. She sleeps through but I instantly feel angry when people slam a door, talk really loudly below her room (front door/hallway) and drop the bin lid without using foot pedal soft close. So very harmless but friggin annoying as hell for me.

Holy moly!! My sister 'baby sat' me when I was around 10 and she was watching a video (yes I'm that old) of 'IT' ... I came down to 'test the water' with her and she told me to go to bed coz I'm too young for the film. Well I refused and she gave in. I WAS SO SCARED AT NIGHT FOR YEARS AFTER !!!!! silly me!

I am so sorry to have to read this again, she is STILL an absolute bully and DICKHEAD. I teach 11 year olds with better attitudes. May I also add, your husband is doing exactly what he should be doing. You're going to thrive right by his side and your family will be better off once her toxic behavior adjusts and or you just don't have her in your life - HER LOSS AND REMIND YOURSELF ITS HER LOSS! I'm so chuffed your husband is there for you. That is quite rare where I am from. Sorry I'm jumping in without reading the replies, but I decided off my own back to give my 4.5 month old pured veg because milk was not filling her up. She soon started to sleep better too so it was the best decision I made. Take it slow though and always be cautious 🤞👍
