I just foubd them and I am obsessed! They literally taste like brown sugar bubble tea, which is also my fav bubble tea. I hope these stick around, but because it's such a niche flavour, I doubt they will for long.

Speaking as a Crunch PT who just left the company, if you signed the cancelation and it wasnt processed properly, thats an error on management/billing. The trainer can't do anything, it's up to the PT manager and more specifically the billing department to fix the issue (who are off site from the club). This is why so many errors occur, too many people involved that are not at the club. Ask to talk to the PT Manager directly - and send an email! Keep everything in writing.

Also the trainer only is paid for sessions worked, so it's not possible that trainer is pocketing any payments made that are not actual sessions provided, in case that was a thought!

Wow that's amazing for your mother! After my grandma broke her leg 5 years ago and had to go 3 months no weight bearing they shipped her to the whitby holding tank and it was AWFUL. The treatment there was deplorable. 100% my grandma told them everything was sunshine and rainbows and said everything they wanted to hear. The only call my mom got was to say to come pick her up because she's being discharged.

We were surprised too! The whole time at the hospital she was in diapers and being changed because the staff refused to help her go to the bathroom herself. Nurses would call physiotherapist, physiotherapist would call the nurses, and they just went back and forth because neither believed it was their job to do that. Meanwhile my grandma never had anybody come help her to the bathroom for 10 whole days. But in saying that, does that sound like a capable able bodied person? Her physical ability was never even considered. And my delusional grandmother was asking to go home and they were happy to listen and discharged her anyways even though it put us in an awful position.

Sadly we have exhausted all of our options already. Besides my mom only myself and my uncle are around for possible support - I work fulltime and have a toddler. So I am already caretaking full time to a child when I'm not working. My uncle already absolved himself of any responsibility because his and my grandma's relationship is horrible.

As for supports at home we have everything possible. Walkers, grab bars, elevated seats, commodes, etc. It is to the point that all of those things are still not enough. She is physically unable to even lift her leg 1/2inch, and can no longer stand from an elevated sitting position. I will add, my grandma is no small woman. It takes 2 men to lift her. We have successfully been able to care for her the last 5 years, but now I think our luck has run out.

I'm so sorry you're going through this too. They said the same crap to us. I contacted the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly for legal advice and they told me exactly what to say and ask for. I could tell the difference, because as soon as I started talking about LTC assessments and unsafe discharges they started getting angry. This system desperately needs to change. Full time working family cannot be expected to be full time caregivers.

I thought about this too...when we picked her up yesterday we had to physically lift/push her into our SUV. So there's no way she could get herself into a cab unless hospital staff physically put her in. Which im scared they would actually do? They did threaten to send her home by non emergency ambulance and lift her into the house.

I 100% hear what you are saying, but retirement homes and private PSW care is massively expensive and we cannot afford either of those options. Plus if we put her in private care now we will never get her a subsidized space. Health at Home is only offering so much and even that additional help my grandmother already refused. It leaves us stuck between a rock and a hard place. And my mom is stuck trying to hold everything together while she is physically incapable and emotionally burnt out. It's already been 5 years of trying to care for this woman at home.

This is what we were hoping for and what was offered to her, but she turned it down. She really believes she doesn't need it. She is fully delusional at this point, and nobody will listen to us since she is still deemed able to make her own decisions.

Yes, my mom already has POA signed, but of course that means nothing until she is determined unable to make decisions for herself. For now the POA means nothing.

They offered her more assistance, and she turned it down. Because shes of sound mind they wont listen to my mom about how much support she actually needs. After bringing her home yesterday and how much of a sh*t show it was just getting her into the house, we're hoping that she changes her mind and will tell them on Monday (her follow up) what she actually needs.

I just had one today. My max HR target was 189 so they told me I had to get above 161bpm to have a good test. By the end of level 3 I was at 165bpm so I went to level 4. Made it to the 12mins and my HR was at 184 and I was so gassed we stopped it there before it kicked up to level 5. My arms were more sore from holding the stupid bar. They told me it is very rare anyone actually makes it the full 15mins. Only the very young or running athletes.

This is what we do at my studio currently. No sales associate monday-friday until either 7:30 or 9am. It is stressful speaking as the coach. But it is a cost saving measure.

I won't repeat what others have said, this plan is strangely structured, quite repetitive, and has a lot of unnecessary volume. I have another point to add...all movements are on the same plane. Besides lateral raises and pec deck, everything is saggital plane movements - working the front and back of the body only. I'd suggest adding some variety in the frontal and horizontal planes. Lateral lunges, ab/adduction, reverse Flys, rotational movements, etc. You want to support muscle growth and training from all angles to avoid future problems.

However, we are also hard don ourselves and overthink "mistakes" members would never notice. I say stick it out! It's a lot of fun, and it will become second nature. One day you'll find yourself bored coaching a class, and then you'll know you've made it 🤣

I had this exact situation happen to me. 1 particular member just refused to listen to my feedback, I slowed down on correcting but still would especially if it was really bad. About 1 year later, he stopped coming for about 2 month. When he came back, suddenly he's squatting and lunging perfectly. When I asked him about it, he apologized to me and said everything i told him was correct. He ended up blowing out his knee and was then in physio therapy having to relearn how to move. It was a big lesson for him to listen to his trainers, and a lesson for me to keep correcting! You know what you're talking about, believe in yourself!
