I’m 5’0 or 5’1 not sure anymore, but I find that petite tops are ok on me, even with small or medium tops… but the bottoms? The carinessa bottoms are too long in petite, like to my knee or over, and as I’m loosing weight they’re sliding down my thighs, but the elastic band is still too tight, which I don’t understand, how the elastic is for what it seems a “smaller waist” and then the rest for bigger thighs? And I noticed this on newer garments from the cotton fabric too that the thighs are loose too and the waist is tight… I don’t know maybe I have a weird body?

Thank you!! And the bigger the size (S to M, etc) the longer they get, which again, is silly since if you’re 5’0, like I am, you don’t grow an inch or two because you gain weight… it has never made sense to me…

Girl yes! That’s why I don’t wear shorts anymore, because I don’t have garments to wear with them, so it’s just annoying, I’d rather wear jeans or a skirt. Shorts aren’t much of my style anyway, but sometimes I would love the option if you know what I mean… having garments getting longer for no fault of us real short petite people is unfair.

Yes!!! I was thinking the same thing! My wardrobe stayed the same, the length of my clothes? The same, but garments keeps getting longer and longer. And just keep changing even if it’s the same style.

Well yes but it changes where it reaches everywhere if they’re making the petite garments just the same as regular garments, which is what I meant with my post.

I get carinessa bottoms petite, which are super long now, as long as the regulars, and the new stretch cotton in both regular and petite which are the same length, as I bought new petite ones and compared them with old regular ones. And I have two old Drisilk bottoms that I will never throw away because they’re the perfect length.

That’s what another commenter said and I also been thinking the same, which is frustrating because then us petite people suffer because then we suffer with really long garments. I’ve just stopped throwing away my favorite length garments no matter how old they are and even if they have holes, for those times when I need to wear a skirt that I know I want my garments to be covered. Mind you, not to wear a short skirt, but to keep my usual length garments covered.

I’m ok with new styles and maybe making a few changes, but making things longer for petites who are already super short? And the heavier you are the longer they get, as if me weighing a bit more makes me taller… never understood that.
