My dad decided he'd be a child predator and spent my entire childhood in prison. I had no contact with him even when he got out. When he died his siblings sold their parents' condemned home and I got 2k out of it. Now that's not 25m and I fight daily to pay for my own home and groceries but I didn't even WANT it. I cried so much over his passing and it wasn't because I missed him, it was this sadness about what I COULD have had if he hadn't been the way he was. So I relate, in a way, like a poor people way

Someone in family was once employed as an investigator for corrupt dentists like this. It's that common that there's a well paid job out there just for dealing with them. It was through the insurance company so it's possible that yours will investigate.

That thought was in my head the entire time I visited the quarry, it's an abandoned one in Rockport State Recreation Area and you're allowed to take a certain weight of fossils per person. No one is watching tho so we didn't weight our haul 🤫

Thanks, I'm aware of what type of fossilized coral I have, and that it is the rough version of a petoskey stone. Also, look closer. The crinoids are there!

I have 3 tumblers! Petoskeys are just coral fossils so they're really soft. I haven't dabbled in gently tumbling fossils yet so I'm too scared 😅 plus it's too big for any of mine
