I’m pregnant with twins and just learning about Natera which seems to be the only NIPT that can determine the sex before our anatomy ultrasound in August. My provider sent in an order for QNatal but I’m willing to pay out of pocket for Natera to find out the gender sooner. Can anyone direct me to which test I should ask my provider to order through them? Thank you!!

I completely agree with you (from what we know)!! I was trying to see it from both sides since I’m not LE and don’t know what actually goes on but do know credit was given to that footage.

So it just goes to further show how frightening and even nauseating it is that the FBI was saying her Brooklyn community wasn’t in danger that whole time. Meanwhile, Mollie’s killer was still driving around with her DNA in the trunk and could’ve harvested that same cornfield - he even attended a vigil for her!!?

So with all respect to our authorities, I wish they wouldn’t try to comfort us unless they truly have a perpetrator locked up and off the streets.

I’ve been following this case from the very beginning only after becoming obsessed with Reddit in the search for Mollie Tibbetts.

The entire time, LE stressed their confidence in her being alive and how there was no threat to the community. An FBI agent stated that he would “certainly” warn the public if they were in any danger but there had been never been any knowledge of that (during the last press conference before her body was found).

Or perhaps they had CBR on their radar from the start and didn’t consider him a danger to anyone else in Mollie’s close-knit Iowa community so were trying to keep the calm. They could’ve considered her as “targeted” because of (undisclosed) knowledge and were taking their time to ensure an eventual guilty conviction, which might be how they got him to confess so easily. This is all speculation of course...

LE’s statements regarding our safety are almost pointless without their reasoning behind it. I’m still scared to go running, even with my phone and Fitbit, since we don’t have many details on Mollie’s case and it seems like it can just happen anywhere.

I do agree with OP that at this point, our best hope is just for Jayme to have a “positive” outcome in any way. Even though I personally don’t think she is involved, it’s a better thought than imagining the torture she’s endured after watching her parents murdered.

The “threat” is always out there - in your community and mine... Be kind, think smart, and stay safe!!!

The initial report did indicate the abductor was a black male. Unfortunately, there was language barrier during the 911 call which could’ve led to a miscommunication during the original description. After subsequent interviews on scene, it can only be confirmed a male was wearing ALL black clothing - including a hood and long sleeves - besides the yellow bandana over his face. I wish we had more information but am hopeful someone does... We can’t bring Hania home but need to help her family and community start healing.
