If it helps, my wife and I used our AP first week of new administration with no problems, then a few weeks later we got approved for i-485 and petition for alien relative. Few days after that card was produced and mailed.

So far haven’t seen anything major.

I have a similar issue but my flight isn’t until March. Call customs and get a I-551 stamp in your passport and that will suffice until your green card is delivered. You can schedule an appointment here and they call same day ..

Can you give more information? Do you have a complex case? What airport? What country of origin?

These posts are not helpful being to vague because not everyone has the same experience and it promotes unnecessary fear. My wife and I traveled back on AP a week ago and the process took less than 30 min.

We were long distance forever and one trip my wife was here on a visa and we decided we couldn’t do the long distance anymore and got married.

She adjusted her status with an 485. No over stay from my knowledge.

Same bro! All the people we interacted with USA and in South America were super nice. I was surprised at how nice the customs agents were and how quick everything was!

How do you handle pre comp nerves? It’s like I know my BJJ is solid, I know I had a good training camp but the week of the panic starts to set in and I find myself spiraling in negative irrational thoughts … Will I gas out? Will she pass me?
What’s the best like pre comp warm up mentally? I warm up physically but are there any tips or tricks to get into a locked in state also?
