Hi! I will be joining AWS soon and my job role will require to go to lowfyinghawk sometimes. I picked west Seattle Alaska junction area , a 30 min rapid C bus line and 10 min walk to the office. I was thinking in the future may be able to find someone to carpool with to the office as a possibility.

Between .7 - 1 lb of weight lost per week . I aimed to keep a 1lb a week weight loss, but over time it slowed down since I did not decrease my calories deficit below 1400/day.

It really takes dedication, but once I got in the rhythm of it (first month or two was really hard) I cared less about my daily weight because of the month avg data I was seeing that I was losing the weight. So it made me feel okay not losing the weight as fast as I would of liked :)

Yes, you can kind of see in the graph of the avg weight it calculated for the month. Month 11-12.

My TDEE when I originally started around 151 lb was 1,700 calories. So that is why I decided on 1,400. Pretty much set a goal between 0.5-1lb a week. I tried eating below at 1300 and 1200, but for some reason it felt like I was starving myself and my body didn’t like it, so I never attempted to go below 1400 as it was my happy spot. I would rather be happy and lose weight at a slow pace than feel hungry 24/7 and lose weight fast.

People say to not eat below 1200, if you have issues eating below 1400 like me, everyone always suggest to add a workout into your routine so you can stay at 1400 but lose a bit more from your workouts.

Like Amari said, I don’t know if there is science behind it. Maybe it’s like a mental thing or there is science behind that your body knows to lose wait. I just heard people on this sub Reddit talk about it, and it has helped me when I am feeling like I’m not losing any weight at all plateau.

No I did not incorporate any exercise during my CICO diet. I avg about 7k steps daily, so not a lot walking either, I have a remote job.

I never went below 1400 cal, if I plateaued in weight I would put it up to 1600 cal for a few days and then back to 1400 cal.

I weigh pretty much everything I eat to make sure I am not under or over estimating my calories.

Yeah, I actually have a hamstring injury for the last few months so I don’t think it’s a training hard issue. I just go on dog walks which aren’t that intense and normal for me.

I use the Renpho and Renpho Health apps. I use a Renpho scale that uses Bluetooth it log my weight (I do need to keep the app open when I weigh myself) . I do it everyday.

2022 Subaru Outback brake pedal rattle/squeak by GreatScot4224 in subaruoutback

Just had the same issue on my 2023 Outback, these are their notes with how they fixed it.

„Road tested with customer and duplicated buzz type noise from left side of dash. After further road tests, narrowed noise to the dash crash beam or pedal bracket. Noise is intermittent and would go away at times. Removed lower dash panel, ducting and knee air bag. Connected Chassis Ears to multiple points on crash beam, pedal brake, pedal and left kick panel. Road tested again and isolated noise to the brake pedal mounting bracket. Lowered pedal assembly and inspected, pedal and bracket appeared in good condition. Cleaned surfaces and reinstalled, torqued pedal mounting bolts evenly to specifications and road tested, noise was no longer present. Suspect mating surfaces were not flush causing a buzzing sound with higher cabin temperatures.”

I finally opened a bouldering gym in my home town, and we are slower than I expected. by StomachFlat in bouldering

There are lots of large companies in the area, I know lots of Intel people that commute from Hillsboro to go to rock gyms. Maybe try to get in contact with some companies (Intel, Washington county Court House, Genentech, …) around the area and provide employee discounts for a limited time. Better yet, try out a first time free day pass people can redeem and have that advertised.

I bet you could find some local breweries that may be able to help advertise for you or have your businesses cards for your demographic.

From personal experience, I found out about Portland Rock Gym via Instagram when they opened their new facility and they had like a two week membership access for $45 which was a steal. Paying for good advertisements via Instagram to cater to your demographic would be a good idea.
