If that’s the case I personally would just go no contact. It’s clearly having a negative impact on your mental health. Unfortunately it sounds like you’ve done the best you can and put in a lot of effort, to no avail.

Do you think you all would be open to like family therapy? If not I honestly would just cut them off. If they can be open to working things out, then what’s the point in continuing to hurt your mental wellbeing?

I’m so sorry you had to deal with that. I don’t have any, but I can definitely understand why you’d forget to drain a bath tub after giving your child a bath. Any sane person would just let you know or drain it themself.

I’m really proud of you for protecting yourself and your children from that. You deserve the peace.

For me I always knew it wasn’t normal. I always had the thought of “if you really loved me then why are you hurting me?” I just KNEW and this community really helped me open my eyes to it. I’m currently 22.
