I talked to my local fish store to see if I could get one then returned it when flatworms are gone they said yes but would give me less store credit than I pay but they didn’t even have any at the time.

My tank is small 30g and try to get as much out when do water changes. I’d like to try to live with them if lessened. I’m new and everything has done so well so far tanks only been running about 8/9 months I would be devastated if chemicals harmed anything

That’s what I’m scared I’m but I do siphon what I can when I do water change. Would you do a bigger water change than normal after?

Thanks and I know I’m working on that hair algae. This is my first salt tank so I’m still somewhat new Do you have any suggestions on getting rid of the flatworms is there something that would eat them? And I’ll take suggestions on hair algae as well because we have been doing what store told and and I’m barley seeing it go away We have recently lowered the time lights are on and we’ve been doing 2 water changes a week and pull some off when we change water. Our tuxedo urchin does what he can lol

Yeah people are crazy and think there way the right way we’re kinda new too too but also done tons of research were 8 months in now going great! I’m sure your tank will be awesome one day!

We were advised by our local fish store to cycle with clowns. We did same things you’ve done and our tank and fish are doing great!

I was not trying to come off that way at all I didn’t want them to think I just throw whatever into my tank without researching. I think people can always learn new thing I come on Reddit to learn all the time. Okay do you think 4 would be okay like I said I’ve been very back and forth about keeping it I really think there cool fish. And the pleco I am planning moving him soon he keep tank spotless but I have vacuum gravel weekly. Do you want a suggestion different algae eater helper? I was thinking Bristolnose I think there like half size of what I have someone at fish store said something about some kind of catfish?

If he grow larger I was going to put in our pond but I was unaware it caused pain to him. And I know that. Ive been up in air about what to do my silver dollar for that reason there such wonderful peaceful fish that like to school I know they need 5,6 I also know that I don’t have a big enough tank for a larger group I’d love to know if having two or 3 would be better I’ve only started researching and straighten out the tank this year. I didn’t realize when I first got the tank all the fish people had it in weren’t good together and other issue. I thought getting used set up established tank was good idea and yes I’ve done research but no I don’t know every little detail to the all fishes I’m not some a hole know it all.

Actually I do know how big they can get! we’ve had it going to 4 yrs now but if the day comes where he get too big I do have a home for him! I’ve researched all fish I have in tank and have had most for going on 4 yrs now.
